Ninza (Nichino Chemical India) PROPICONAZOLE 25% EC is a broad-spectrum fungicide that is effective against a wide range of fungal diseases in a variety of crops. It is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation that contains the active ingredient propiconazole. Propiconazole is a systemic fungicide that is absorbed by the plant and moves throughout the plant to control fungal diseases. It works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption of cell membrane integrity leads to cell death and the control of fungal diseases.
