Combining ultra-pure GA4 with 6-BA, perlan is the leading PGR for the production of typy apples, especially Red Delicious. In addition, as a result of Fine’s advanced gibberellin fermentation process which enables the production of high purity GA4 so that perlan increases fruit size with minimal inhibition of return bloom. In some pear varieties like Conference, perlan helps with fruit setting of young trees or helps with repairing flower clusters that have been damaged after frost events. On top of this effect, perlan is also available for russet prevention programmes improving overall skin finish and fruit quality.
