Introduction

Mode of Action

Pyrethroids bind to the sodium channels in the insect's nerve cells, preventing the passage of sodium ions. This disruption of sodium ion flow leads to overexcitation of the nerve cells, resulting in paralysis and death of the insect.

The application rate of Prudens will vary depending on the target pest, the crop, and the environmental conditions. In general, the application rate will range from 250 to 500 milliliters per hectare.

Application Methods
