SEED TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
RANCONA V RTU FS is formulated for both commercial and for on-farm application. This product may be applied utilizing mechanical, slurry or mist-type seed treating equipment, provided that the equipment can be calibrated to accurately and uniformly apply the product to seed. Uniform application to seed is necessary to ensure best disease protection and optimum performance. Refer to the label rates below.
Not for use in hopper-box, planter-box or slurry-box seed treatment applications.
In most cases, RANCONA V RTU FS is ready to use and can be applied undiluted. However, dilution with water or container rinsate may be appropriate for some types of treaters and/or treating under dry and/or hot conditions to achieve more uniform product to seed coverage. RANCONA V RTU FS and water or container rinsate should be mixed thoroughly prior to treating seed. Recalibrate treating equipment to compensate for the addition of water or container rinsate. The amount of dilution water or container rinsate that is most suitable depends on the crop type, seed quality, treater type and weather conditions with no dilution being necessary in most situations. Contact your local Chemtura representative or supplier for specific recommendations on dilution or tank mixes.

USE RESTRICTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS
Do not use treated seed for food, feed or oil purposes. Care must be exercised in the handling of treated seed. Augers used for handling treated seed must not be used to move seed .for feed, food or oil processing.
Laboratory and field studies have shown that RANCONA V RTU FS Seed Protectant will not adversely affect seed germination. Due to seed quality conditions beyond the control of Chemtura, no claims are made to guarantee germination of carry-over seed as an untreated seed lot may decline in germination with storage irrespective of seed treatment application. Treatment of highly mechanically damaged seed or seed of known low vigor and poor quality may result in reduced germination and/or reduction of seed and seedling vigor. If seed lot quality is unknown, conduct a germination test on a small portion of seed before committing the total seed lot to a selected chemical treatment.
DO NOT use RANCONA V RTU FS Seed Protectant in combination with other seed treatment products unless compatibility has been verified. Read and follow carefully all label directions of each combination product. When using combinations of products, the most restrictive of label limitations and precautions must be followed.
"Do not graze or feed livestock on treated areas for six weeks after planting. Exceptions: Do not allow livestock to graze or feed on bean forage until 60 days after treated seed is planted. Do not graze or feed livestock on soybean forage or hay grown from treated seed."
