GENERAL INFORMATION
RETENTION is designed for use as an irrigation management tool for general agriculture applications. RETENTION contains water treatment resins injected into irrigation water to increase water efficiency and improve soil structure. Soil erodibility at the soil surface interface is reduced by improved inter-aggregate bonding and better maintenance of surface roughness. The end result is a product that can be used to improve irrigation
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Directly inject desired rates of RETENTION into the irrigation system during normal irrigation cycles. Please refer carefully to all the details and instructions on this label for specific instructions and consult with your local Helena Chemical Company Sales/Technical Representative for additional information and guidelines pertaining to your hydro-treatment need.
GENERAL RATE AND APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Agriculture uses
Utilizing RETENTION in a planned and scheduled management program through the growing season will result in improved irrigation efficiency. As a planned program, it is recommended to apply 2 quarts per acre every 30 days from the first spring irrigation cycle and with continued treatment through the first fall frost.
Refer to mixing and handling instructions. RETENTION is a concentrated product containing highly active water treatment resins. RETENTION must be handled and applied carefully to insure trouble free application. As a general precaution, avoid RETENTION exposure and contact with small amounts of water. Avoid spills and direct contact, as the product is very difficult to wash and clean from the skin or equipment. DO NOT PRE-MIX AND DIRECTLY APPLY RETENTION WITH CROP PROTECTION PRODUCTS SUCH AS HERBICIDES, INSECTICIDES, OR FUNGICIDES. RETENTION CAN BE APPLIED WITH LIQUID FERTILIZER, ONLY IF A JAR TEST INDICATES THAT COMPATIBILITY IS SUITABLE FOR USE WITH THE APPLICATION EQUIPMENT.
