GENERAL DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Weeds controlled: Simadex controls the following weeds:
Broadleaves: Lady's-thumb, Lamb's-quarters, Purslane, Ragweed, Volunteer Clovers, Wild Buckwheat, Smartweed.
Annual Grasses: Barnyard Grass, Crabgrass, Wild Oats, Yellow Foxtail.
Simadex Flowable will also control most perennial species starting freshly from seed.
DO NOT enter or allow worker entry into treated areas for 12 hours following application (except for stacking, topping, training and pruning in Christmas tree and woodland plantations). DO NOT enter or allow worker entry for staking, topping, training and pruning in Christmas tree and woodland plantations for 21 days following application.
For fruit and nut crop: Apply the spray to the orchard or vineyard floor, avoiding contact with fruit, foliage or stems.
Field sprayer application: DO NOT apply during periods of dead calm. Avoid application of this product when winds are gusty. DO NOT apply with spray droplets smaller than the American Society of Agricultural Engineers (ASAE) medium classification. Boom height must be 60 cm or less above the crop or ground.
DO NOT apply by air.
Mixing: Mix by adding the recommended amount of Simadex to the spray tank while filling with clean water. Gentle agitation is required during mixing and spraying.
Spraying: Spray at pressures of 200-300 kilopascals. Use nozzle screens of 50 mesh size or larger. Keep Simadex mixture well agitated and spray evenly to cover the surface to be treated. After any break in the spraying operations, agitate thoroughly. After using, wash sprayer thoroughly with clean water.
