General Information:

Uniquat is a non-selective herbicide that contains the active ingredient paraquat dichloride. It is effective against a wide range of annual and perennial weeds, including grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges. Uniquat is a rapid-acting herbicide that kills plants within hours of application.

Mode of Action:

Paraquat dichloride is a photosystem I inhibitor herbicide. Photosystem I is a complex of proteins and chlorophyll that is involved in the light-dependent reactions of photosynthesis. By inhibiting photosystem I, paraquat dichloride stops the production of NADPH, which is an essential energy molecule for plant growth and development.

Application:
