Creeping lantana
Lantana montevidensis
Decumbent shrub, mostly < 0.3 m high, often forming low dense thickets; branches rooting at nodes, scabrous, prickles absent, ± hairy, often glandular on young parts.
Leaves with lamina ovate, 0.8–2.5 cm long, 5–16 mm wide; apex ± acute, base ± truncate, margins toothed, upper surface wrinkled and strigose, lower surface ± pubescent and with yellow to orange sessile glands; petiole 2–4 cm long.
Flower heads 1–2 cm diam.; peduncle 2–8 cm long; bracts broad-ovate, 4–7 mm long. Corolla 8–12 mm long, purplish.
Drupe 4–6 mm diam., purplish black.
