Beet webworm
Spoladea recurvalis
Larvae are initially creamy-white but develop greyish-green and black marks. Older larvae (about 20-25 mm long) have a distinct black line down the middle of the back. Moths are 10 mm long and have brown forewings with two white bands and brown hindwings with one white band.
Crops attacked: Mungbean, adzuki bean
Larvae mainly feed on leaves but can affect flowers and pods, webbing plant parts together and feeding inside.
