General Instructions for Agmate 2,4-D 300 SL Herbicide

Product Overview: Agmate 2,4-D 300 SL Herbicide is a water-soluble liquid designed for non-selective herbicidal activity against broadleaf weeds. It controls emerged weeds with no residual effect. The herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage, disrupting nutrient synthesis, leading to visible effects such as gradual yellowing, wilting, and browning of plants. The onset of effects may take 7-10 days, or up to 21 days under cold or cloudy conditions.

Application Guidelines:

1. Avoid treating weeds under poor growing conditions: Do not apply during drought, waterlogging, disease, insect damage, following frost, or on weeds covered with dust or silt. Reduced effectiveness may occur under stress from previous herbicide application.
2. Rainfall: Rainfall within 6 hours of application may reduce effectiveness.
3. Wind Conditions: Do not spray in strong winds.

Crop Establishment:

• Agmate 2,4-D 300 SL Herbicide is recommended as a herbicide additive to glyphosate for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment.
• Observe specific Plant Back Periods to ensure safe sowing of the intended crop.
• Conditions affecting germination and seedling development should be considered, and sowing may need to be delayed under certain circumstances.

Application:

• Boom Equipment: Apply in spray volumes of 25-100L/ha. Adjust boom height to ensure double overlap of nozzle patterns at the top of the weed canopy.
• Aerial Equipment: Increase water volume to 30L/ha and droplet size to at least 300 SL micron diameter under hot conditions (above 25°C). Do not apply by aircraft when temperature is above 35°C. Avoid use in intensive horticultural cropping areas. Wash aircraft thoroughly after each day of spraying.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Mix, store, and apply only in stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, or plastic-lined containers. Do not use galvanized steel or unlined steel containers.
• Clean equipment thoroughly after use with hot soapy water or 1% ammonia solution, followed by clean water rinses.
• Follow decontamination procedures if using Sulfonylurea herbicides.

Compatibility: Agmate 2,4-D 300 SL Herbicide is compatible with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. Do not mix with spraying oils or materials not specified on the label.

Surfactant Addition:

• Add surfactant only for Conservation Tillage when tank-mixing with a glyphosate product. Use either a 1000g/L non-ionic surfactant or the acidifying surfactant LI700 as directed on the glyphosate product label.
• Do not use LI700 if sulfonylurea herbicides are included in the spray mixture.

Tank Mixtures:

• Agmate 2,4-D 300 SL Herbicide can be tank-mixed with glyphosate and other herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants as recommended in the Directions for Use tables.

Mixing Instructions:

• Mix with water after ensuring the spray tank is residue-free.
• Add herbicide additives, Agmate 2,4-D 300 SL Herbicide, glyphosate, and remaining water in sequence.
• Maintain adequate agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly.
