GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

TENET 500 SC is a residual herbicide effective against selected grass and broadleaved weeds, offering pre-emergence control and early post-emergence control of annual ryegrass and wild oats when used with Platinum Xtra and Hasten. It's absorbed by the roots of germinating seedlings and primarily translocated through the xylem.

INCORPORATION BY SOWING
For optimal pre-sowing control, apply evenly to moist soil just before incorporation by

sowing. Adequate rainfall soon after sowing ensures activation and uptake by germinating weeds. When applied before planting, incorporate using knife points and press wheels promptly. Caution: Avoid throwing treated soil from one furrow to another to prevent crop damage. If emerged weeds are present, use TENET 500 SC with a knockdown herbicide. Weeds in the seed row may not be controlled, and control could be reduced if weed seeds are buried or soil moisture is insufficient.

EARLY POST-EMERGENCE
For early post-emergence application, ensure good contact and coverage of weeds with a maximum of two leaves and active growth. Use with Platinum Xtra 360 and Hasten for best results. Under good soil moisture, TENET exhibits residual soil activity. However, dry conditions post-application before herbicide movement to the root zone may reduce residual effects. Compatibility with various herbicides is detailed, but avoid mixing with glyphosate potassium salt or Gramoxone 360 Pro.

CROP SAFETY
Crop selectivity is ensured by separating seeds from the herbicide-treated band. Proper row closure and separation are crucial to prevent crop damage. Potential damage may occur due to deep planting furrows, heavy rainfall post-application but pre-emergence, or both, especially in soils prone to leaching. Other stress events on the crop or high herbicide rates can increase the risk of damage. TENET safety on all canola cultivars is not guaranteed; test on a small area before full application. Contact ADAMA Australia for cultivar tolerance information.
