RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K Herbicide belongs to the Glycines group of herbicides and acts through the inhibition of EPSP synthase. As a Group M herbicide, it's crucial to manage weed resistance effectively.

Some weed biotypes naturally resistant to Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K and other Group M herbicides may exist due to genetic variability. Repeated use of these herbicides can lead to the dominance of resistant weeds, rendering them unresponsive to treatment.

Since detecting resistant weeds before use is challenging, Kenso Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd assumes no liability for losses resulting from Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K's failure to control resistant weeds.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT

Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K is recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Adequate cultivation or sowing operations are necessary to prepare suitable seedbeds for crop germination and development. Spraying early to target young weeds facilitates seedbed preparation.

On friable soils with light weed cover, sowing can proceed as soon as one day after spraying. However, heavy weed growth may necessitate delaying sowing until weed decay and soil conditions permit seedbed formation.

Incorporating green or decaying vegetation and roots into the seedbed through cultivation or sowing may delay crop emergence, especially in cold or wet conditions. Grazing can reduce vegetation, while cultivation leaving trash on the surface can aid weed decay. Exercise caution to achieve the correct seeding depth and avoid using pre-emergence herbicides that may delay crop emergence.

MIXING

When using boom application, maintain a water volume of at least 6 litres per 1 kg of Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K. Avoid using water containing soil or hard water with calcium salts, as it may diminish results. Do not mix, store, or apply the product in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers due to the risk of forming highly flammable gas. Use only approved materials such as stainless steel, plastic, or fiberglass for storage and application.

SURFACTANT ADDITION

Additional surfactant is generally unnecessary, except when the Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K rate is below 6 g/L for boom application. In such cases, adding Turbo® Plus at a rate of 100 mL per 100 L water can enhance efficacy. Avoid mixing with spraying oils, agricultural chemicals, or other materials unless specified.

TANK MIXTURES

Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K can be tank-mixed with various herbicides, insecticides, and additives. Follow all label directions, including restraints, plant back periods, and safety instructions. Thoroughly clean spray equipment after use to prevent corrosion.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

  • Avoid treating weeds under poor or dormant growing conditions, as efficacy may be reduced.

  • Do not add additional surfactant or mix with other agricultural chemicals unless directed.

  • Rainfall soon after application may reduce efficacy, especially if weeds are not actively growing or under stress.

  • Delay treatment of plants wet with dew or rain.

  • Avoid disturbing treated weeds by cultivation, sowing, or grazing as per specified intervals.

  • Although there is no withholding period for grazing stock, delay grazing until herbicide absorption is complete to prevent toxicity risks from certain plants.

APPLICATION

Kenso Agcare Ken-Up Dry Super K is a non-selective translocated herbicide. Direct contact or drift can cause severe injury or destruction to crops or desirable plants. Clean all equipment thoroughly after use. Adjust equipment settings for optimal application according to the specific instructions provided for boom, high volume, or aerial equipment.
