GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Imtrade Amitrole 250 Herbicide
Before use, carefully read Safety Directions, First Aid Instructions, Directions for Use, Storage, and Disposal and Protection Statements.
APPLICATION INFORMATION:
- Apply 1700-2200L/ha with power spraying equipment.
- Apply 900-1100L/ha (1L/10m2) using a knapsack.
- Apply 170L/ha when using a misting machine (NOT recommended in Tasmania).
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
- To improve efficiency, add a surfactant to the spray mixture.
- Power Spraying: 250 mL/100L spray mixture.
- Knapsack Spraying: 55 mL/15L knapsack.
- Misting Machine: 60 mL/15L spray mixture (NOT recommended in Tasmania).
Note: Rates indicated in the Directions for Use table are per 100L water for power spraying.
RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:
- Imtrade Amitrole 250 Herbicide is a Group 34 Herbicide with the inhibition of carotenoid biosynthesis mode of action.
- Weed resistance management is crucial.
- Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Imtrade Amitrole 250 Herbicide and other Group 34 Herbicides may exist.
- Imtrade CropScience accepts no liability for losses due to failure to control resistant weeds.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:
- DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or watercourses with the chemical or used containers.
PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:
- Imtrade Amitrole 250 Herbicide is non-selective and may damage crops, pastures, and ornamentals.
- DO NOT apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND USAGE:
- DO NOT use the spray machine for any other purpose unless thoroughly cleaned with water rinsings.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Follow Storage and Disposal instructions on the label.
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Dispose of containers through triple rinsing, recycling, or approved waste management facilities.
- DO NOT burn empty containers or reuse them for other purposes.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- DO NOT inhale spray mist.
- After use and before eating, drinking, or smoking, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water.
