HERBICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING

Apparent Troller Herbicide is a member of the triazole group of herbicides. Apparent Troller Herbicide has the inhibitors of carotenoid biosynthesis mode of action. For weed resistance management, Apparent Troller Herbicide is a Group 34 herbicide.

Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Apparent Troller Herbicide and other Group 34 herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Apparent Troller Herbicide and other Group 34 herbicides.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Before opening, carefully read Safety Directions, First Aid Instructions, Directions for Use, Storage and Disposal and Protection Statements.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

Thoroughly wet all surfaces by aiming to apply 1700-2200 L/ha with power spraying equipment, 900-1100 L/ha (1 L/10 m²) using a knapsack and 170 L/ha when using a misting machine.

Note: Misting machines are NOT recommended for use in Tasmania.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

To improve the efficiency of this product, it is recommended that a surfactant be added to the spray mixture at the following rates:

  • Power Spraying: 250 mL/100 L spray mixture.

  • Knapsack Spraying: 55 mL/15 L knapsack.

  • Misting Machine: 60 mL/15 L spray mixture. (NOT recommended in Tasmania)

Note: The rates indicated in the Directions for Use table are per 100 L water for power spraying. Refer to the chart below for the required amounts to suit other equipment.

Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, AIRR Apparent Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of this product to control resistant weeds. Apparent Troller Herbicide may be subject to specific resistance management strategies. For further information contact your local supplier or AIRR Apparent Pty Ltd representative or local Department of Agriculture Agronomist.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT

DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with chemical or used containers.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS

Drift Warning: Apparent Troller Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide and may damage crops, pastures and some ornamentals. However, it is safer to use near plants susceptible to phenoxy type herbicides. DO NOT apply under weather conditions, or from spraying equipment that may cause spray to drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands or pastures.

Equipment Maintenance and Usage

DO NOT use the spray machine for any other purposes unless thoroughly cleaned by several rinsings of all parts with clean water.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility. If an approved waste management facility is not available bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots, in compliance with relevant Local, State or Territory government regulation. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.

Refillable Containers (1000 L only):

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Empty contents fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to point of supply for refill or storage.
