GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Applonil 720 Fungicide is a protectant fungicide designed for controlling various diseases in fruit and vegetables. To achieve optimal results, the product must be applied before the onset or establishment of diseases. Effective disease control requires thorough leaf coverage before widespread outbreaks occur.

Mixing:

  • Thoroughly shake and invert the pack before opening.
  • Half-fill the spray vat and, with the agitation system running, add the required amount of the product.

Application:

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water, applying up to the point of run-off.
  • Set up the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
  • Apply enough water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.
  • Determine the required water volume based on industry guidelines or expert advice.
  • Add the specified product amount for each 100L of water, spraying to the point of run-off.
  • Adjust dilute spray volume as needed with the crop's growth.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying, matched to the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy with your chosen water volume.
  • Determine the appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
  • Calculate the concentrate mixing rate using the concentration factor.
  • Adjust spray volume, product amount, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
  • Consult industry guidelines and undertake competency training for concentrate spraying.

Application Rates per Hectare:

  • Low Volume: 200 litres or more
  • Mister: 75 - 255 litres
  • High Volume: 500 litres or more
  • Aerial Application: 20 litres or more
  • Adjust water volume with plant growth to maintain adequate cover.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with wettable powder formulations of most fungicides, insecticides, and miticides.
  • DO NOT combine with oil-based emulsifiable or flowable pesticides, especially if not proven to be physically compatible in your area.
  • DO NOT mix with spraying oils or apply to crops sprayed with oil within 10 days.

Wetting Agents:

  • Adding surfactants does not improve efficiency and may cause plant injury under certain conditions.

Fungicide Resistance Warning:

  • GROUP Y FUNGICIDE
  • Applonil 720 Fungicide is a member of the multi-site activity group (Group Y) of fungicides.
  • Resistance may occur through genetic variability in fungal populations. Regular usage without proper management may result in resistant fungi.

Protection of Livestock:

  • DO NOT contaminate feed, foodstuffs, or water with the product or empty containers.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

  • Dangerous to fish. DO NOT contaminate water bodies with the chemical or used containers.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
  • Triple rinse containers before disposal. Dispose of containers properly, following local regulations.

Safety Directions:

  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale spray mist.
  • Sensitive workers should wear protective clothing.
  • Wash hands and exposed areas thoroughly after use.
  • For detailed safety measures, consult the Safety Directions section provided.
