GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Before using Atrizon 900WG Herbicide, carefully review the Directions for Use, Precautionary Statements, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions. Here are the main instructions:

TARGET WEEDS:

• Atrizon 900WG Herbicide selectively controls weeds and grasses in various crops, including Canola (Triazine Tolerant varieties only), Sorghum, Maize, Sweet Corn, Sugar Cane, Lupins, Broom Millet, Saccaline, and Forage Sorghum. It also targets specific weeds in Lucerne, grass seed crops, and fallow conservation tillage systems.

APPLICATION:

• Apply to cool, wet soil for optimal effectiveness.

MIXING:

• Fill the spray vat with clean water before adding Atrizon 900WG Herbicide. Vigorously agitate the mixture during mixing and spraying operations. Pour the herbicide steadily into the vat to ensure complete dispersion. Do not leave the spray solution standing in the vat or spray boom lines overnight.

INCORPORATION (PRE-PLANT AND AT SOWING APPLICATION):

• Atrizon 900WG Herbicide mainly acts through root absorption, requiring rainfall or irrigation to move it down into the weed root zone. Mechanical incorporation after application, not more than 4cm deep, is necessary in flood or furrow irrigation situations to ensure proper activation. Apply to an even un-ridged seedbed.

SUMMER CROPS:

• Apply pre-plant or pre-emergence applications for grasses in crops like Sorghum, Maize, Broom Millet, Saccaline, and Sweet Corn. Follow up with post-emergence applications as needed. Ensure moist soil and follow-up rain or irrigation.

APPLICATION METHODS:

• Ground application: Apply as an overall or band treatment, with a minimum band width of 30cm. Apply 50 to 100 litres per hectare.

• Aircraft application: Ensure good soil moisture at the time of application and follow-up rain or irrigation within 10 days. Apply 20 to 30 litres per hectare. Do not use human flaggers unless protected by engineering controls.

COMPATIBILITY:

• Atrizon 900WG Herbicide is compatible with diquat and other residual herbicides like diuron. In sugar cane, addition of sodium 2,4-D can assist in short-term suppression of Nutgrass and other sedges.
