GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Application:

  • DO NOT use concentration factors exceeding 4X with low volume application equipment, except when applying Kenso Agcare Avior 250 SC Fungicide by air. Adequate coverage is still necessary for disease control.

TREE CROPS AND WINES:

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes, ensuring even coverage throughout the crop canopy. Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off. Determine required water volume from industry guidelines or expert advice.
  • Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water from the Directions of Use table. Spray to the point of run-off, adjusting dilute spray volume and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying, setting up for even coverage. Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy to calculate the concentrate mixing rate.
  • Example: If dilute spray volume is 1000 L/ha and concentrate volume is 500 L/ha, the concentration factor is 2 (1000 L ÷ 500 L = 2). If the dilute label rate is 80 mL/100 L, then the concentrate rate becomes 160 mL/100 L.

Mixing:

  • Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and start agitation.
  • Shake the closed Kenso Agcare Avior 250 SC Fungicide container. While filling the tank, add the required amount of Kenso Agcare Avior 250 SC Fungicide, adding tank-mix products last.
  • Maintain agitation until spraying is complete. DO NOT leave the spray mix in the sprayer overnight.

Export of Treated Produce:

Grapes:

  • Check Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for export destinations. Contact the winery, Kenso Agcare Pty Ltd representative, or the Australian Wine Research Institute for information.

Other Crops:

  • Verify MRLs in major export destinations. Contact the export organization or Kenso Agcare Pty Ltd representative for details.

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • Kenso Agcare Avior 250 SC Fungicide is a Group 11 fungicide. Fungicide resistance management is crucial. Some naturally occurring fungi may be resistant, leading to reduced efficacy and possible yield loss.
  • Apply in a protective spray program with fungicides from different groups to manage resistance. DO NOT wait until disease levels build up. Limit Kenso Agcare Avior 250 SC Fungicide applications to 1/3 of total fungicide sprays per crop. Alternate with fungicides from different groups.

RE-ENTRY PERIODS:

  • Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried, unless wearing cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing). Launder clothing after each day's use.
