GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Before opening, carefully read Directions for Use, Precautionary and Protection Statements, Storage and Disposal, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions.

MIXING:

  • Half fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of this product. Agitate thoroughly, then add the remainder of water. Agitate again before spraying commences.

APPLICATION:

  • DO NOT use rain-drop or air-induction nozzles as coverage of weeds may not be adequate.

  • Boom Sprayer: Calibrate the machine before use to ensure the correct application rate. Check boom height above the crop to ensure even distribution.

  • Cereals: Apply 50 to 200 liters of water per hectare. Use higher water volume (minimum 100L/ha) for heavy weed infestation, dense crop cover, or when tank-mixing with metsulfuron-methyl.

  • Linseed: Apply a minimum of 220 liters of water per hectare.

  • Turf: Apply a minimum of 500 liters of water per hectare.

  • Aerial Application: Apply a minimum of 22 liters of water per hectare, or 30 liters per hectare if tank-mixing with metsulfuron-methyl. Markers should move upwind before aircraft passes overhead. Micronaire equipment may give variable results.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE:

  • Wash application equipment thoroughly with Spraymate Tank & Equipment Cleaner after use and rinse several times.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • This product is physically compatible with specific herbicides or insecticides in wheat and barley only. Follow instructions on the mixture partner label.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • TITAN Bromoxynil MA Selective Herbicide is a Group 6 and Group 4 herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to it and other Group 6 and Group 4 herbicides may exist. Resistant weeds will not be controlled by this product.

PROTECTIONS:

  • Avoid spraying under conditions that may cause drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or pastures. Maximum daily temperatures at or above 20°C at application, or on days following treatment, may result in seedling mortality and damage to established plants.

  • DO NOT apply by misting machines.

  • Dangerous to fish. DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:

  • Sprayed weeds may become more palatable to stock, leading to stock poisoning and death. Avoid grazing with young or breeding stock. DO NOT graze horses or pigs on Paterson’s Curse.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from sunlight. Triple rinse containers before disposal and follow specific instructions for each container type.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Product is poisonous if inhaled or swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment during preparation and use. Wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly after use. Wash contaminated clothing daily.
