General Instructions - Rygel ClearUp 517 K Herbicide
Product Information: ClearUp 517 K is a non-volatile, non-selective, water-soluble liquid herbicide designed for the control of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds. It is suitable for a wide range of agricultural and non-agricultural applications, excluding the transplanting of tomato seedlings.
Mode of Action and Weed Resistance Management: This herbicide belongs to the Glycines group and operates through the inhibition of EPSP synthase. As a Group M herbicide, it's essential to manage weed resistance by avoiding repeated use to prevent the dominance of resistant weed biotypes.
Crop Establishment: Rygel ClearUp 517 K is recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Adequate cultivation and planting operations should follow herbicide application to facilitate optimal crop emergence.
Mixing: Ensure the spray tank is free of residues before mixing. Rygel ClearUp 517 K mixes readily with water. Avoid mixing, storing, or applying the product in galvanized or unlined steel containers. Use stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, or plastic containers.
Mixing Instructions:
Fill the spray tank partially with water and initiate agitation.
Add ammonium sulfate if recommended, mix thoroughly.
Add other herbicides, insecticides, and additives, ensuring thorough mixing.
Add ClearUp 517 K, complete filling with water, and continue mixing.
If needed, add surfactant near the end of the filling process to minimize foaming.
Maintain adequate agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly.
Tank Mixtures and Compatibility: ClearUp 517 K can be tank-mixed with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. Follow label directions for tank mix products, and use a minimum water volume of 50L/ha in multiple product tank mixes.
Application Techniques:
Boom Equipment: Use a spray volume of 80L/ha or less for optimal performance.
Aerial Equipment: Apply with a spray volume not less than 20L/ha and settings for a median droplet diameter of 250-350 microns.
Wiper Equipment: Use a mixture of 700ml ClearUp 517 K with 2.3 liters of water.
Protection Measures:
Avoid contact with desirable vegetation to prevent injury or destruction.
Prevent spray drift onto nearby susceptible crops, pastures, or other sensitive plants.
Protect wildlife, fish, crustaceans, and the environment; avoid contamination of water sources.
Storage and Disposal:
Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal; do not burn empty containers.
Follow local regulations for disposal; recycle or bury containers in designated landfills.
For refillable containers, return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
