General Instructions:

Cleaning Spray Equipment: Before using KELPIE CLETH-D 240 EC HERBICIDE, ensure proper clean-out of the previous product, especially sulfonylurea herbicides. After using KELPIE CLETH-D 240 EC HERBICIDE, empty the tank and drain the system completely. Wash the inside of the tank thoroughly with a pressure hose, clean all filters, and use a household detergent to aid cleaning. Rinse twice with clean water, and discharge rinse water onto a designated disposal area.

Mixing: Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of KELPIE CLETH-D 240 EC HERBICIDE. Add spray additive and agitate thoroughly, then add the remaining water. Agitate again before spraying begins.

Application:

Ground Application: Use calibrated spray equipment producing a droplet range of 200-300 microns VMD. Apply in a minimum of 50 liters of water per hectare, using 150 L/ha for dense populations.

Aerial Application: Use aircraft fitted with boom or Micron air equipment. Recommended spray volume is 20-30 L/ha, with droplets in the range of 200-250 microns VMD. Apply in light crosswind conditions, avoiding temperature inversions and low humidity.

Crop Safety: Safe for use on certain pasture legumes, seed crops, and pasture herbs when applied correctly. Apply when plants have reached 2-4 trifoliate leaf stage or after 40 days from sowing.

Caution: Test on a small number of ornamental plants before widespread use. Do not use on Gymnosperms without prior testing. Do not mix with Diflufenican, Bentazone, or Acifluorfen.

Resistance Warning: KELPIE CLETH-D 240 EC HERBICIDE is a Group A herbicide. Use rotations to prevent resistant weed development.

Compatibility: Compatible with certain grass herbicides and other products listed on the label. Use KELPIE CLETH-D 240 EC HERBICIDE at the full label rate specified for the target weed species when mixing with grass herbicides.

Protection: Avoid drift onto susceptible crops, native plants, or waterways. Do not apply through misting equipment. Take care to avoid damage to adjoining native grasses or crops.

Storage and Disposal: Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from children, animals, and food. Triple rinse containers before disposal, and do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Follow local regulations for disposal of empty packaging.
