GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Generex Clethodim Herbicide
Resistance Warning:
- A member of the cyclohexanedione group of herbicides with the inhibitor of acetyl coA carboxylase mode of action.
- Group A Herbicide for weed resistance management.
- Resistant weed biotypes may exist due to normal genetic variability; repeated use may lead to dominance.
- Generex Australia accepts no liability for losses resulting from failure to control resistant weeds.
Cleaning Spray Equipment:
- Before use, ensure the proper clean-out procedure for the previous product, especially sulfonylurea herbicides, is followed.
- After use, empty the tank, drain the system, wash inside the tank with a pressure hose, clean all filters, and rinse thoroughly.
- Rinse water should be discharged to a designated disposal area away from desirable plants and water sources.
Mixing Instructions:
- Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
- Add the required amount of Generex Clethodim Herbicide.
- Add spray additive and agitate thoroughly.
- Add the remaining water and agitate again before spraying commences.
- Do not use with copper products.
Application:

Ground Application:
- Use calibrated spray equipment with a median droplet range of 200 to 300 microns VMD.
- Apply in a minimum of 50 liters of water per hectare; use 150L/ha for dense populations.

Aerial Application:
- Can be applied through aircraft with a spray volume of 20 to 30L/ha.
- Adjust equipment to deliver droplets in the range of 200 to 250 microns VMD.
- Best results in light crosswind, avoid temperature inversions, low humidity, and drift damage.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with grass herbicides: Quizalopfop, Fluazifop, Haloxyfop, Sertin*, and Correct*.
- Use at full label rate when mixed with other grass herbicides.
- May be applied in tank mixtures with Sumi-Alpha* 50 EC, Sumi-Alpha* Dual, Alphacypermethrin 100g/L Insecticide, and Omethoate.
- Do not mix with Diflufenican Herbicide, Basagran, or Blazer. Apply as separate applications.*
Caution:
- Test on a smaller number of ornamental plants before widespread use.
- Do not use on Gymnosperms without prior safety testing.
Protection and Environmental Concerns:
- Avoid drift onto susceptible crops/plants, cropping lands, or pastures.
- Do not apply through misting equipment or any method causing excessive drift.
- Prevent damage to adjoining native grasses or grass crops.
- Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and frost.
- Triple-rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank.
- Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- If recycling, return clean containers to the recycler; if not, bury below 500mm in a disposal pit.
- Do not burn empty containers or product.
