GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Colex-D is a soluble concentrate containing drift reduction technology with near zero volatility. Before use, carefully read RESTRAINTS, including the SPRAY DRIFT RESTRAINTS, DIRECTIONS FOR USE, PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEAN, AND ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY DIRECTIONS, and FIRST AID instructions.

To benefit from the built-in drift reduction technology, Colex-D may only be tank mixed with products that do not adversely affect its drift-reducing properties and when observing applicable spray drift restraints.

BOOM SPRAYING:

  • Use 70 – 100 L water/ha. HIGH VOLUME SPRAYING:

  • Use 1,500 – 2,500 L water/ha.

MIXING:

  1. Fill the spray tank with clean water to half the required volume and start agitation. Do not use mechanical agitators as they may cause excessive foaming.

  2. Add water dispersible granules first, agitate until uniformly dispersed, then fill the tank to 90% of the required volume.

  3. Add soluble concentrates (including Colex-D) and finally emulsifiable concentrates. Mix thoroughly.

  • Follow any mixing sequence instructions on partner product labels. Maintain adequate agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly.

Mixing Instructions for glyphosate + Colex-D + other tank-mix partners:

  1. Fill the spray tank to half full with clean water, start and maintain agitation.

  2. Add Redox Ammonium Sulphate or Nufarm Liase Liquid and mix thoroughly.

  3. Add glyphosate and mix thoroughly.

  4. Add other tank-mix partners, starting with water dispersible granules, then soluble concentrates (including Colex-D), and emulsifiable concentrates.

  5. Add remaining water to the desired final fill level.

  • Remove the hose from the tank immediately after filling to prevent back siphoning into the water source. Maintain adequate agitation during application and use the tank load promptly.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND USAGE:

  • Equipment used for Colex-D should not be used for applying other materials to sensitive plants without thorough cleaning.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Ensure thorough agitation when tank mixing with Colex-D.

APPLICATIONS WITH DRIFT REDUCTION:

  • Only tank mix Colex-D with products listed in this section of the label, ensuring they do not adversely affect its drift-reducing properties, and observe applicable spray drift restraints.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Colex-D is a Group 4 herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Group 4 herbicides may exist. Colex-D may not control resistant weeds, and Corteva Agriscience Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from this.
