GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE

AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE is an emulsifiable concentrate formulation to be mixed with water and applied as per the labeled Directions for Use. It is a post-emergence herbicide used in various agricultural and horticultural settings, including fallows, broadacre crops, grass pastures, commercial, industrial, and public service areas, as well as tree fruits, nuts, and grapevines. It can also be used for desiccation of regrowth in cotton.

MODE OF ACTION

AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE acts as a fast-acting contact herbicide, disrupting plant membranes and leading to rapid desiccation and death of susceptible weeds. Symptoms of herbicide activity, such as desiccation and necrosis, typically appear within hours to days after application.

COMPATIBILITY

When tank mixing, AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE should be combined with knockdown herbicides like glyphosate, paraquat, or glufosinate. It is also compatible with partner herbicides commonly used with knockdown herbicides, along with various surfactants and oil adjuvants. Compatibility with specific herbicides and additives should be confirmed before mixing.

TIMING

For optimal results, apply AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE to small, actively growing weeds. Ensure weeds are exposed and not shielded by other vegetation or stubble. Specific timing recommendations vary depending on the target crop or weed species.

APPLICATION

Ground sprayers are recommended for most applications, ensuring proper coverage and uniform application. Use appropriate nozzles and spray volumes to achieve desired results. Aerial application is permitted only for cotton desiccation.

SPRAYER CLEAN OUT

Thoroughly clean all spray equipment after using AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE to prevent residual herbicide from affecting subsequent applications, particularly on sensitive crops. Proper cleaning procedures involve flushing equipment with a cleaning solution and rinsing thoroughly with water. Dispose of cleaning solutions and rinsate in accordance with regulations.

CAUTION

Take precautions to avoid spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or water sources. Follow safety directions regarding personal protective equipment and handling procedures.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Store AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE safely in its original container in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and frost. Triple-rinse empty containers before disposal and adhere to local regulations for proper disposal methods.

By following these instructions carefully, users can maximize the effectiveness of AC CONSORT 400 HERBICIDE while minimizing environmental impact and ensuring safety.
