General Instructions:

• Mixing:

  • Add water to the spray tank to a level 10 cm above the agitation device and ensure vigorous agitation.

  • Ensure a minimum of 100 L of water is in the tank before adding any pesticide.

  • If tank mixing, add soluble liquid formulations first, then add Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide at the strongest point of agitation. Do not add it through a strainer or sieve.

  • Half-fill the spray tank.

  • For wettable powder, water dispersible granules, or other emulsifiable concentration formulations, add them after Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide to the half-full spray tank with vigorous agitation.

  • Finally, add Uptake Spraying Oil or approved alternate spraying oil/wetter and continue filling the tank to the required volume while maintaining agitation.

• Spraying Oils/Wetters:

  • Spraying Oils: Add an adjuvant to Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide. Uptake Spraying Oil at 0.5 L/100 L of spray solution is recommended for best results. Alternatively, other oils plus a non-ionic wetter may be used.

  • Non-ionic Wetters: When Uptake or other oils are not used, a 100% concentrate non-ionic wetting agent such as BS-1000 at 200 mL/100 L must be used along with the higher rate of Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide as specified in the Directions for Use.

• Specific Crop Instructions:

  • Canola, Lucerne, Medic, and Clover Pastures and Seed Crops: When tank mixing with Lontrel herbicides (canola only) or Broadstrike (lucerne, clover, and medics), use Uptake Spraying Oil with the lower rates of Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide or a wetting agent with the higher rates unless otherwise specified. When mixing with other broadleaf herbicides, use a wetter instead of an oil.

  • Field Peas and Canola: Uptake Spraying Oil is recommended. Hasten is also recommended for tank mixtures of Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide and Select Herbicide.

  • For canola, the tank mixture of Sinochem DECREE 520 EC Herbicide + Lontrel 750 SG + Uptake Spraying Oil is compatible and selective. This mixture is also compatible with atrazine or simazine and selective to triazine-tolerant canola.
