GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Rice - Bloodworm Control:
- Apply at sowing time or within 24 hours to flooded bays (water depth ≤ 150 mm).
- Use a higher rate for water depth > 150 mm or high organic matter.
- Flood bays 3 days before application for maximum bloodworm hatching.
- Reduce water level if organic matter is high, monitor results, and reapply as needed.
Rice Seed for Aerial Sowing:
- Mix product with water, pour over pre-germinated seed for one hectare in the aircraft hopper.
- Sow treated seed within an hour to avoid damage.
- Treated seed is for sowing only, not for human, poultry, or animal consumption.
- Destroy any unused treated seed.
Insecticide Resistance Warning:
- Dipterex is a Group 1B insecticide.
- Resistance management strategies may be necessary.
- Consult local supplier, United Phosphorus representative, or agricultural department agronomist.
Export of Treated Produce:
- Check MRLs and import tolerances for export of edible produce treated with Dipterex.

Crop Safety:
- Dipterex is phytotoxic to some sorghum varieties; test on Alpha and Pioneer 846 before use.
Mixing:
- Add Dipterex to water in the spray vat with agitation.
- Use immediately after mixing.
Application:
- Ensure even, thorough coverage of the target area for good pest control.
- Use appropriate spray equipment with sufficient water for penetration and coverage.
Aerial Application:
- Apply with a "placement" technique for crop penetration.
- Choose swath width for uniform coverage.
- Spray in the evening or early morning, avoiding thermals and still air during the day.
Special Instructions for Tree and Vine Crops:
Dilute Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to run-off.
- Set up to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
- Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to run-off.
- Adjust water volume and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
Concentrate Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
- Set up for even coverage with chosen water volume.
- Determine appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
- Calculate concentrate mixing rate based on concentration factor.
- Adjust spray volume, product amount, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
Compatibility:
- Dipterex is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and fungicides.
- Test mixtures with other manufacturers' products before commercial quantities.
- United Phosphorus Ltd is not responsible for the behavior of mixtures in changing climatic conditions.
PRECAUTION:
- Re-entry into treated areas is allowed only after spray deposits have dried.
- Wear cotton overalls and PVC gloves for entry, launder clothing after each day's use.
