GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • SUREFIRE EPOCH is a broad-spectrum contact and systemic fungicide. It is absorbed via the stem and foliage and translocated upwards and outwards to provide protection to new growth. Thorough coverage of the crop is necessary for optimal results.
  • Regularly check the crop for any signs of disease infection. Apply as soon as disease is present on the flag leaf or flag-2. Application beyond flag leaf emergence may not provide yield benefit, especially under dry seasonal conditions.

MIXING:

  • SUREFIRE EPOCH is a suspension concentrate formulation. Add the product to the half-filled spray tank while agitating. Continue to agitate while topping up the tank and during spraying.

APPLICATION:

  • Ground Application:

    • Apply in a water volume between 50 and 100L/ha, using flat fan nozzles operating at around 50 cm above the top of the crop.
    • Use higher water volume in crops with heavier canopies.
  • Aerial Application:

    • Apply with suitable aircraft, set up and operated to apply fungicides to cereal crops in a minimum water volume of 20L/ha.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • For information on compatibility, contact your local reseller or PCT Holdings Pty Ltd representative.

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • SUREFIRE EPOCH is a member of the DMI group of fungicides. It is a Group 3 fungicide. Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to the product and other Group 3 fungicides may exist. The resistant individuals can dominate the fungal population if these fungicides are used repeatedly, leading to reduced efficacy and possible yield loss.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Re-entry period: Do NOT allow entry into treated areas until the spray has dried.
  • CAUTION - Export of treated cereals: Check Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) or import tolerances in export markets.

LIVESTOCK DESTINED FOR EXPORT MARKETS:

  • The grazing withholding period only applies to stock slaughtered for the domestic market. Some export markets may have different standards. Observe the Export Slaughter Interval for stock grazed on or fed treated crops.

EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI):

  • After observing the withholding period for grazing or cutting for stock food, livestock that have been grazed on or fed treated crops should be placed on clean feed for 3 days before slaughter.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND THE ENVIRONMENT:

  • Highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Do NOT apply under conditions that may cause spray drift onto adjacent crops, crop lands, or livestock.
  • DO NOT apply SUREFIRE EPOCH aerially if water bodies, watercourses, or wetlands are within 30 meters downwind of the application area.
  • Do NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
  • Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
  • If recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to a recycler or designated collection point.
  • If not recycling, dispose of empty packaging at an approved waste management facility according to regulations. Do not burn empty containers or product.
