GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Smart Epoxiconazole 125 is a broad-spectrum contact and systemic fungicide designed for the protection of various crops. It is essential to follow the provided instructions for mixing, application, and precautions to ensure effective and safe use.

USAGE:

  • Broad-spectrum contact and systemic fungicide.
  • Taken up via the stem and foliage, providing protection to new growth.

APPLICATION TIMING:

  • Apply as soon as disease is present on the flag leaf or flag-2.
  • Application beyond flag leaf emergence (ZGS39) may not provide additional yield benefit, especially under dry seasonal conditions.

MIXING:

  • Smart Epoxiconazole 125 is a suspension concentrate formulation.
  • Add the product to the half-filled spray tank while agitating.
  • Continue agitation while topping up the tank and during spraying.

APPLICATION RATES:

  • Ground Application: Apply in a water volume between 50 and 100L/ha.
  • Aerial Application: Apply with suitable aircraft in a minimum water volume of 20L/ha.

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • Group 3 fungicide (DMI group).
  • Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to the product and other Group 3 fungicides may exist.
  • Crop Smart Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of the product to control resistant fungi.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD:

  • Do not allow entry into treated areas until the spray has dried.

CAUTION FOR EXPORT OF TREATED CEREALS:

  • Check Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) or import tolerances in export markets.
  • Consult with Crop Smart Pty Ltd or your grain exporter for the latest information on MRLs and import tolerances before use.

LIVESTOCK:

  • Grazing withholding period applies to stock slaughtered for the domestic market.
  • Some export markets may apply different standards. Observe Export Slaughter Interval for export-bound livestock.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Highly toxic to aquatic organisms.
  • Avoid spray drift onto adjacent crops, croplands, livestock, pastures, wetlands, water bodies, or watercourses.
  • Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Triple-rinse containers before disposal.
  • Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Follow local regulations for disposal.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Harmful if inhaled or swallowed. Will irritate the eyes, nose, and throat and skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not inhale vapors.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment during handling and application.
