PRODUCT INFORMATION

Imtrade Eradicator 510 Herbicide

Imtrade Eradicator 510 Herbicide is a non-volatile, non-selective, water-soluble liquid herbicide designed for controlling annual and perennial grasses as well as broadleaf weeds in a variety of agricultural and non-agricultural settings.

Mode of Action:

  • Imtrade Eradicator 510 Herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems.
  • Inactivated on clay and organic matter in soil, providing no residual weed control.
  • Moves throughout the plant from the point of contact to the root system.
  • Initial visible effects on annual weeds take 3-7 days, while under cool, cloudy conditions or for some perennial weeds, effects may take 2-3 weeks.

Crop Establishment:

  • Recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment.
  • Suitable conditions for crop emergence and establishment are required after herbicide application.
  • Planting may be delayed in the presence of heavy weed growth or unsuitable soil conditions.
  • Decay of weeds and improvement of soil conditions are necessary before planting.

MIXING:

  • Compatibility:

    • Mixes readily with water.
    • Reduced results may occur if water contains suspended clay, organic matter, or high levels of calcium, magnesium, or bicarbonate ions.
  • Container Compatibility:

    • Do not mix, store, or apply in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers or spray tanks.
    • Use stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers.
  • Cleaning Equipment:

    • Spray tanks, pumps, lines, and nozzles should be thoroughly cleaned with clean water following application.
    • Ensure the spray tank is free of residue from other spray solutions before mixing.

Mixing Instructions:

  1. Fill the spray tank 1/3 to 1/2 full with clean water and start agitation.
  2. If using ammonium sulfate, add a 2% v/v and mix thoroughly.
  3. For tank-mixing, add recommended herbicides, insecticides, or additives to the spray tank and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add Imtrade Eradicator 510 Herbicide and the remaining water. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Add Pulse Penetrant or Wetter TX if required, near the end of the filling process.
  6. Maintain adequate agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly.
  7. Clean all equipment after use by washing thoroughly with water.

TANK MIXTURES:

  • Pulse Penetrant recommended for controlling Bracken and woody weeds. Rate: 200 mL/100L spray solution.
  • Ammonium sulfate may be used to alleviate adverse effects of high levels of calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonate ions. Rate: 2L/100L spray solution.

APPLICATION:

  • Boom Equipment:

    • Recommended spray volume of 80L/ha or less for broadacre application.
    • Use flat fan nozzles at pressures of 200–280 kPa.
  • Wiper Application:

    • Use in specific situations as per the directions for use table.
    • Weeds should be at least 15cm above the crop, and wiper equipment should be operated at least 10cm above the crop.
    • Double-pass application is recommended.
  • Aerial Equipment:

    • Apply by aircraft for weed control in various settings.
    • Use boom or Micronair equipment with a minimum spray volume of 20L/ha and settings for a median droplet diameter of 250–350 microns.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

  • Do not treat weeds under poor growing conditions.
  • Do not add surfactants, adjuvants, or other pesticides unless directed.
  • Rain within 2 hours may require re-treatment.
  • A withholding period for grazing is not required.
  • Apply treatments to weeds with at least one true leaf (broadleaf) or two leaves (grasses).
  • If heavy grazing has occurred, allow re-growth to 6-8cm before spraying.
  • If Glyphosate-resistant weeds are present, apply additional control methods.
