GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Imtrade Eradicator Pro 450 Herbicide is a non-volatile, non-selective, water-soluble liquid herbicide designed for the control of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in various agricultural and non-agricultural settings. It can be used for weed control on agricultural land before planting any edible or non-edible crops, except prior to transplanting tomatoes. Care must be taken to remove residues from plastic mulch before transplanting. Residues can be removed by natural rainfall of at least 2cm or by applying water via a sprinkler irrigation system. Imtrade Eradicator Pro 450 Herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems. It is inactivated in soil on clay and organic matter, providing no residual weed control. The herbicide moves throughout the plant from the point of contact to the root system. Visible effects on annual weeds take 3-7 days, while it may take 2 to 3 weeks under cool, cloudy conditions or on some perennial weeds.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

Imtrade Eradicator Pro 450 Herbicide belongs to the Glycine group of herbicides and has the EPSP synthase mode of action inhibition. It is classified as a Group M Herbicide. Some weed biotypes may naturally be resistant to it, and resistant weeds can dominate the population if the herbicide is repeatedly used. Users are advised to implement integrated weed management strategies, including crop and herbicide rotations, practices to minimize weed seed build-up, recording and monitoring of herbicide use, and collecting seed samples from weeds to detect resistance.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT

The herbicide is recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Cultivation and planting operations that provide suitable conditions for crop emergence are required after herbicide application. Planting should be delayed in the presence of heavy weed growth or unsuitable soil conditions. Incorporating green or decaying vegetation may slow down crop emergence under cold, wet conditions. Grazing and cultivation to leave trash on the surface can assist in weed decay.

MIXING

Imtrade Eradicator Pro 450 Herbicide easily mixes with water. Reduced results may occur if water contains suspended clay, organic matter, or high levels of calcium, magnesium, or bicarbonate ions. It should not be mixed, stored, or applied in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers or spray tanks. Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers or spray tanks are recommended. Equipment should be thoroughly cleaned with water after use.

TANK MIXTURES

Imtrade Eradicator Pro 450 Herbicide can be tank-mixed with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. Users should read and follow all label directions, restraints, plantback and withholding periods, and safety instructions for the tank mix products.

APPLICATION

  • Boom Equipment: For broadacre application, a spray volume of 80L/ha or less is recommended. Flat fan nozzles on spray booms with an operating pressure of 200–280 kPa are suggested.

  • Wiper Application: Wiper equipment may be used, ensuring weeds are at least 15cm above the crop. The wiper should be operated at least 10cm above the crop, and lower speeds of application (not exceeding 8 km per hour) are recommended.

  • Aerial Equipment: Aerial application may be done for weed control in various settings. Spray volume should not be less than 20L/ha, with settings to produce a median droplet diameter of 250-350 microns.

  • Application on Hilly Terrain: Increase water volume to 30-80L/ha and median droplet diameter to at least 300 microns for optimal deposition on weeds.

  • Air Temperature and Relative Humidity: Avoid applying the herbicide by aircraft at temperatures above 30ºC. Increase spray output to at least 30L/ha when temperatures rise above 25ºC. Avoid application when relative humidity falls below 35%.

AVOID DRIFT

Do not apply treatments under conditions likely to cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible crops, pastures, or other sensitive plants. Avoid treatments under very light (<4km/hr) or inversion conditions or when wind speeds exceed 12km/hr.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST

  • Do not treat weeds under poor growing conditions.
  • Do not add surfactants, adjuvants, or other pesticides unless directed.
  • Rain within 2 hours of application causing runoff may require retreatment.
  • A withholding period for grazing is not required, but grazing should be delayed until complete desiccation of treated plants.
  • Apply treatments to weeds with sufficient leaf area for herbicide uptake.
  • If heavy grazing occurred, allow regrowth to 6-8cm before spraying.
  • If Glyphosate-resistant weeds are known to be present, additional control methods should be applied.

PROTECTION OF CROP, NATIVE, AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS

Avoid contact with various parts of crops, desirable plants, and trees. Do not apply under conditions that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or pastures.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT

Do not contaminate dams, rivers, or streams. Follow label directions to minimize spray entry into water.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL (5L, 10L, 20L & 200L only)

Store in closed, original containers in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from prolonged direct sunlight. Rinse containers before disposal and follow appropriate recycling or burial procedures. Do not burn empty containers.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS

The herbicide may damage eyes and irritate the skin. Protective clothing, including gloves, face shield or goggles, and overalls, should be worn during handling and preparation. In case of contact with eyes or skin, wash immediately with water. After use, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water. Clean equipment after each use.
