GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS for Evict 700 Herbicide

PRODUCT INFORMATION: Evict 700 Herbicide is a non-volatile, water-soluble herbicide with non-selective activity against various annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses. It is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, moving throughout the plant from contact to the root system. The herbicide does not provide residual weed control and is immediately inactivated in the soil.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT: Evict 700 is recommended for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. Suitable cultivation and/or sowing operations are necessary for satisfactory seed bed conditions. Sow early in friable soils with a light cover of young weeds or delay in heavy weed growth conditions until suitable seed bed formation. Incorporation of vegetation into the seedbed may affect crop emergence, especially in cold and wet conditions.

MIXING: For boom application, water volumes should not be less than 6 liters per 1 kg of Evict 700 Herbicide. Do not use water containing soil or hard water with calcium salts. Do not mix or apply the product in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers. Use stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, or plastic-lined containers. Thoroughly clean equipment after use to prevent corrosion.

SURFACTANT ADDITION: Additional surfactant is not required except when the rate of Evict 700 Herbicide is less than 6g/L when applied by boom. Add a nonionic surfactant at 100mL per 100L water. Do not mix with spraying oils, agricultural chemicals, or any other material unless directed on the label.

TANK MIXTURES: Evict 700 Herbicide may be tank-mixed with specified herbicides, insecticides, and additives. Follow all label directions and precautions for tank-mix products. Tank mixing instructions are provided, including the addition of crystalline ammonium sulfate for improved performance under adverse environmental conditions.

APPLICATION: Evict 700 Herbicide is a non-selective translocated herbicide. Direct spray contact or drift can cause severe injury or destruction to crops or desirable plants. Clean all equipment after use by thorough washing. Application methods include boom equipment, high-volume application (e.g., knapsack/handgun), aerial equipment (fixed-wing and helicopter), and applications on hilly terrain. Adjust equipment settings for even spray patterns.

AERIAL EQUIPMENT (BY HELICOPTER ONLY): When applying by helicopter, follow specific guidelines for rate, swath width, and droplet size. Thoroughly wash the helicopter after each day of spraying to remove herbicide residues.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

• Do not treat weeds under poor growing or dormant conditions.
• Do not add additional surfactant or mix with other chemicals unless directed.
• Evict 700 Herbicide is rainfast after absorption but avoid treatment during rainfall.
• Delay cultivation, sowing, or grazing for specified periods to ensure herbicide adsorption.
• No withholding period for grazing stock, but delay grazing for recommended periods.
• Be cautious of toxic plants like Soursob, St John’s Wort, and Bracken if present.
