Glister 450 Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide effective against a wide range of emerged weeds and plants. Follow these guidelines for optimal results:

1. Use Before Crop Establishment: Glister 450 Herbicide provides no residual weed control, making it suitable for use before sowing any crop except transplanting tomato seedlings.

2. Optimal Weed Growth: Apply when weeds are actively growing. Avoid treating weeds under poor growing conditions such as drought, waterlogging, disease, or insect damage, as effectiveness may be reduced.

3. Visible Effects: For annual weeds, effects may be seen in 3 to 7 days, while perennial weeds may take 2 to 3 weeks or longer to show effects, especially in cool and cloudy conditions.

4. Mixing and Application:

   • Mix Glister 450 Herbicide with water and a non-ionic wetting agent for effective application.

   • Rain within 6 hours of application may reduce effectiveness, while heavy rainfall within 2 hours may necessitate repeat treatment.

   • Avoid contact with desirable plants to prevent injury or destruction.

5. Compatibility: Glister 450 Herbicide is compatible with certain herbicides, insecticides, and additives. Follow label instructions for tank mixtures and additives.

6. Stock Grazing: No withholding period is required for stock, but grazing should be delayed for one day after treating annual weeds or seven days if perennial weeds are present.

Resistant Weed Warning:

• Glister 450 Herbicide belongs to the Glycines group of herbicides, inhibiting EPSP Synthase. It is classified as a Group M herbicide for weed resistance management.

• Resistant weed biotypes may exist due to genetic variability, potentially dominating weed populations if herbicides are repeatedly used. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Glister 450 Herbicide or other Group M herbicides.

Crop Establishment:

• Apply Glister 450 Herbicide before crop establishment, ensuring suitable seedbed conditions for germination and development.

• Delay sowing until dead weeds are sufficiently decayed to avoid delays in crop emergence, especially in cold and wet conditions.

Mixing:

• Mix Glister 450 Herbicide with clean water. Avoid using turbid water or hard water containing calcium salts to prevent reduced weed control.

• Use appropriate containers for mixing and storage to prevent the formation of flammable gas mixtures.

Application:

• Boom equipment is recommended for ground application, with spray volumes of 25-100 L/ha. Use appropriate nozzles for medium to coarse spray quality.

• Aerial application is permitted in certain situations, with recommended rates and spray volumes specified. Follow temperature and humidity guidelines for aerial application.

Low Volume Application:

• Apply evenly to cover all foliage using low volume equipment such as Gas Gun or Splatter Gun. Refer to specific dilution instructions for the desired mixture.
