GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Mixing:

1. Add water to the spray tank until it reaches 10 cm above the agitation level. Ensure vigorous agitation with a minimum of 100 L of water in the tank before adding any pesticide.
2. For tank mixing: a. Add soluble liquid formulations (e.g., Lontrel Herbicide) and agitate for approximately one minute. b. Add OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide at the strongest agitation point. Do not add through a strainer or sieve. Agitate for one more minute. c. Half fill the spray tank. d. For wettable powder, water dispersible granules, or other emulsifiable concentration formulations (e.g., Lorsban 750 WG or Le-Mat), add after OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide, ensuring vigorous agitation. e. Finally, add Uptake Spraying Oil or an approved alternate spraying oil/wetter. Continue filling the tank to the required volume, maintaining agitation.

Spraying Oils/Wetters:

• Spraying Oils: It is crucial to add an adjuvant to OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide. Uptake Spraying Oil at 0.5 L/100 L of spray solution is recommended. Alternatively, other oils plus a non-ionic wetter may be used. When using other crop spraying oils, mix at 1 L/100 L and add a non-ionic wetter at 200 mL/100 L of spray solution.
• Non-ionic Wetters: When Uptake or other oils are not used, a 100% concentrate non-ionic wetting agent (e.g., BS-1000) at 200 mL/100 L must be used along with the higher rate of OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide as specified.

Canola, Lucerne, Medic, and Clover Pastures and Seed Crops:

• When tank mixing with Lontrel herbicides (canola only) or Broadstrike (lucerne, clover, and medics), use Uptake Spraying Oil with lower rates of OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide or a wetting agent with higher rates, unless otherwise specified.
• When mixing with other broadleaf herbicides on these crops, do not use oil; use a wetter instead.

Field Peas and Canola:

• Uptake Spraying Oil is recommended for canola. Hasten is recommended for tank mixtures of OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide and Select Herbicide.
• For canola, OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide + Lontrel 750 SG + Uptake Spraying Oil are compatible and selective. This tank mixture is also compatible with atrazine or simazine and selective to triazine-tolerant canola.

Application:

• Apply OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide in sufficient water to achieve good coverage.
• Ground application: 50-150 L/ha
• Aerial application: 30 L/ha minimum
• Use higher water volumes in orchards and dense crops where weeds may be shielded by the crop canopy.

Cleaning Spray Equipment:

• Before using OzCrop Haloxyfop 520 EC Herbicide, follow cleaning directions for equipment used with previous broadleaf herbicides, especially sulfonylureas.
• After using, thoroughly wash inside the tank, drain the system, and clean filters. Rinse the system with clean water, and, if needed, decontaminate before spraying cereals, maize, sorghum, or other sensitive crops using an alkali detergent.
