GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Mixing:

  1. Add water to the spray tank, ensuring a minimum of 100L of water is present before adding any pesticide.
  2. For tank mixing, add soluble liquid formulations first (e.g., LONTREL Herbicide), then add Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide.
  3. Half-fill the spray tank.
  4. Add wettable powder, water dispersible granules, or other emulsifiable concentration formulations (e.g., LORSBAN 750 WG or LEMAT) after Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide.
  5. Finally, add Uptake Spraying Oil or an approved alternate spraying oil/wetter, and continue filling the tank, maintaining agitation at all times.
  6. Only mix enough solution for immediate use. Apply the mixture immediately for optimal results.

SPRAYING OILS/WETTERS:

  1. For spraying oils, use Uptake Spraying Oil at 0.5L/100L of spray solution. Alternatively, other oils with a non-ionic wetter may be used.
  2. If not using Uptake, a 100% concentrate non-ionic wetting agent such as BS-1000 at 200 mL/100L must be used along with the higher rate of Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide specified in the Directions For Use.
  3. Adjust the rates accordingly for specific situations as mentioned in the Critical Comments section.

CANOLA, LUCERNE, MEDIC, AND CLOVER PASTURES AND SEED CROPS:

  1. When tank mixing with Lontrel herbicides (canola only) or Broadstrike (Lucerne, clover, and medics), use Uptake Spraying Oil with lower rates of Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide or a wetting agent with higher rates.
  2. When mixing with other broadleaf herbicides on these crops, avoid using oil; use a wetter instead.

FIELD PEAS AND CANOLA:

  1. Uptake Spraying Oil is recommended for canola. Hasten is also recommended for tank-mixtures of Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide and Select Herbicide.
  2. For canola, the tank mixture of Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide + Lontrel 750SG + Uptake Spraying Oil is compatible and selective. This mixture also works with atrazine or simazine and is selective for triazine-tolerant canola.
  3. When mixing with Blazer or Basagran, do not add spraying oil. Do not use these tank mixes on cowpea.

COMPATIBILITY - Ground Use Only: Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide can be tank mixed with various insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and trace elements. Carefully follow label directions for all products used.

Aerial Use:

  1. No product other than a recommended crop oil or wetter should be mixed with Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide when applied by air, except for the addition of Lontrel Forestry Herbicide for use in forestry and Lontrel 750SG for use in canola only.
  2. Preparation for aerial application must be carried out with closed mixing/loading.

APPLICATION:

  1. Apply Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide in sufficient water to ensure good coverage.
  2. Apply with accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft delivering droplets with a VMD of 200 – 300 microns.
  3. Recommended spray volumes:
    • Ground application: 50 – 150L/ha
    • Aerial application: 30L/ha minimum
  4. Use higher water volumes in orchards and dense crops where weeds may be shielded by the crop canopy.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Before and after using Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide, follow the specific cleaning instructions outlined in the guidelines. Pay special attention to equipment used with broadleaf herbicides.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Imtrade Haloxyfop 900 EC Herbicide belongs to the aryloxyphenoxy propionate group and inhibits acetyl CoA carboxylase.
  • It is a Group A Herbicide, and the risk of resistant weed development exists. Implement strategies to minimize the risk.
