GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mixing: Add water to the spray tank, ensuring vigorous agitation. Add TITAN Hermes 520 Herbicide after soluble liquid formulations, then other formulations, and finally, Uptake Spraying Oil or approved alternatives. Only mix enough for immediate use.

SPRAYING OILS/WETTERS:

  • Spraying Oils: Add Uptake Spraying Oil at 0.5L/100L of spray solution for best results. Alternatively, use other oils at 1.0L/100L with a non-ionic wetter at 200mL/100L of spray solution. When Uptake or other oils aren't used, add a non-ionic wetting agent.

  • Wetters: Use a 100% concentrate non-ionic wetting agent if Uptake or other oils aren't used. Adjust rates based on water volumes.

CROP SPECIFIC MIXING:

  • Canola, Lucerne, Medic, Clover: Use Uptake Spraying Oil with lower rates of TITAN Hermes 520 Herbicide or a wetting agent with higher rates unless specified otherwise.

  • Field Peas and Canola: Use Uptake Spraying Oil or Hasten for tank-mixtures with Select Herbicide. For Canola, use TITAN Hermes 520 Herbicide + Lontrel 750SG + Uptake Spraying Oil or Hasten.

  • Navy Beans, Peanuts, Soybeans: Do not add spraying oil when mixing with Blazer or Basagran. Do not use these tank-mixes on Cowpea.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Ground Use: Compatible with various insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and trace elements. Not compatible with 2,4-D or MCPA as sodium or amine salts.

  • Aerial Use: Only recommended crop oil or wetter should be mixed with TITAN Hermes 520 Herbicide, except for Lontrel Forestry Herbicide or Lontrel 750SG for Canola.

APPLICATION:

  • Apply with sufficient water for good coverage using ground or aerial equipment. Recommended spray volumes vary based on application method and crop density.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Thoroughly clean spray equipment after each use. If broadleaf herbicides have been used before, follow specific cleaning directions to avoid damage to susceptible crops. Rinse, decontaminate, and flush the system with clean water.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • TITAN Hermes 520 Herbicide is a Group 1 herbicide. Resistance may develop in weed populations if used repeatedly. Monitor for resistant weeds and consult experts for strategies to minimize resistance.

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:

  • Take precautions to avoid spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands, or pastures. Avoid application under weather conditions that may cause drift. Store and dispose of the chemical properly to prevent environmental contamination. Wear protective equipment during spill management.
