GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Product Overview:

  • AC Howl 360 Bio Herbicide translocates throughout the plant, affecting both foliage and roots.
  • Best applied during active growth, moderate climatic conditions, and when plants are disease-free and free of dirt cover.
  • Symptoms appear 2-7 days after spraying annual species and 2-3 weeks after spraying perennial species.

Safety to Crops:

  • Non-selective in nature; avoid contact with desirable crops, plants, or trees.
  • Guidelines to prevent contact: Consider wind direction, avoid fine droplet settings in calibration, and refrain from spraying in high winds, still air, or hot days.

Spray Preparation:

  1. Ensure a clean tank without residues from previous use.
  2. Use clean water, avoiding soil particles or hard water with calcium salts.
  3. Add the specified amount of AC Howl 360 Bio Herbicide according to the Directions for Use Tables.
  4. Mix well, keeping the filling hose below the surface to prevent foaming.
  5. Fill the vat with water, removing the hose promptly to prevent back siphoning.
  6. Avoid using mechanical agitators to prevent excessive foaming.
  7. Do not add non-approved herbicides, insecticides, or any other material not directed on the label.
  8. Use only approved container materials (plastic, plastic-lined, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, or fiberglass).

Surfactant:

  • Addition of surfactant may enhance weed control, especially in high water rates or low product rates.
  • Recommended surfactant rates provided.

Organosilicone Penetrant:

  • Addition may enhance weed control in specific situations, as indicated in the Directions for Use table.

Rainfall Effects:

  • Heavy rain within 2 hours of spraying may wash off the herbicide, requiring re-spraying.
  • Normal rain up to 6 hours after application may reduce effectiveness.
  • Avoid application in stressed weed conditions (e.g., drought, waterlogging, frost).

Soil Persistence:

  • AC Howl 360 Bio Herbicide is not persistent in soils, rapidly broken down by soil microbes and hydrolysis.
  • Refer to the Compatibility section for residual activity needs.

Application Equipment:

High Volume Application (e.g., Knapsack/Handgun Equipment):

  • Use D6 spray tip or equivalent at an operating pressure of 400-700kPa.
  • Good coverage is essential; volume used varies with target species density.

Boom Equipment:

  • Achieve maximum efficiency with fan nozzles at 240-280kPa.
  • Water volumes per hectare can vary based on the density of target species, not exceeding 200L.

Aerial Equipment:

  • Recommended droplet size, swath width, and minimum spray volume provided.
  • Exercise caution in non-selective situations to avoid drift or targeted contact with desirable plants.
  • Adjust water volume and droplet size in high temperatures and dry conditions.

Wiper Equipment:

  • Detailed information from manufacturers is advised.
  • Mix 500mL AC Howl 360 Bio Herbicide with 1L water. Apply to weeds ideally 15cm above the crop or pasture.
  • Maintain a vehicle speed no faster than 8km/hr.

Low Volume Application (e.g., Gas Gun or Splatter Gun):

  • Apply as an even spray to cover all foliage.
  • Refer to the "Weeds Controlled" section for specific dilution and volume recommendations.
  • Example: A dilution rate of 1:9 equals one part AC Howl 360 Bio Herbicide plus 9 parts water.
