GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

• Before using Albaugh Icasso 240 Herbicide, ensure the proper clean-out procedure for the previous product (especially sulfonylurea herbicides) sprayed with the equipment.
• After using Albaugh Icasso 240 Herbicide, empty the spray tank and drain the entire system.
• Wash the inside of the tank using a pressure hose; clean all filters in the tank, pump line, and nozzles.
• Use a household cleaning detergent to aid in equipment cleaning.
• Add detergent to the part-filled spray tank and circulate thoroughly through pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
• Drain the system and rinse twice with clean water.
• Rinse water should be discharged into a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water sources.

MIXING:

• To ensure even mixing, half-fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of product.
• Add spray additive and agitate thoroughly, then add the remainder of the water.
• Agitate again before spraying commences.

APPLICATION:

Ground Application:

• Apply with calibrated spray equipment producing a median droplet range of 200 to 300 microns VMD.
• Apply in a minimum of 50 liters of water per hectare; use 150 L/ha when spraying dense populations.

Aerial Application:

• Albaugh Icasso 240 Herbicide can be applied through aircraft fitted with boom or Micronair equipment.
• Recommended spray volume: 20 to 30 L/ha.
• Adjust equipment to deliver droplets in the range of 200 to 250 microns VMD.
• Best results in light crosswind; avoid applications during temperature inversions or very low relative humidity.
• Take care to avoid drift damage to adjoining grass crops.

CAUTION:

• Ornamentals and Trees: While generally selective to broad-leaved plants, tests should be conducted on a smaller number of plants not previously tested. DO NOT use on Gymnosperms (pines, conifers, etc) unless safety on the relevant species is confirmed through prior testing.

RESISTANCE WARNING:

• Albaugh Icasso 240 Herbicide belongs to the cyclohexanedione group of herbicides with the inhibitor of acetyl coA carboxylase mode of action.
• It is a Group 1 Herbicide for weed resistance management.
• Resistance may exist in weed populations; using the herbicide repeatedly may lead to dominance of resistant weeds.
• Albaugh Asia Pacific Limited accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Albaugh Icasso 240 Herbicide to control resistant weeds.

PRECAUTIONS:

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:

• DO NOT apply if wind is likely to cause drift onto susceptible crops/plants, cropping lands, or pastures.
• Avoid misting equipment or any method likely to cause excessive drift.
• Take care to avoid damage to adjoining native grasses or grass crops.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

• DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the product or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

• Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, and protect from frost.
• Triple rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank. DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
• If recycling, replace the cap and return clean containers to a recycler or designated collection point.
• If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
• If a waste management facility is unavailable, bury the empty containers 500mm below the surface in a disposal pit, complying with relevant regulations.
• DO NOT burn empty containers or product.

ENVIRODRUM 110L MINI BULK RETURNABLE CONTAINER:

• Store the original Envirodrum in a cool, well-ventilated area. DO NOT store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
• DO NOT tamper with the Micro Matic valve or the security seal.
• DO NOT contaminate the Envirodrum with water or foreign matter.
• After each use, ensure the Micro Matic coupler, delivery system, and hoses are disconnected, triple rinsed with clean water, and drained.
• The Envirodrum remains the property of Albaugh Asia Pacific Limited.
