GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Smart Ipyr 750 WG Herbicide is an aqueous solution effective against a range of standing weeds and emerging seedlings. It provides rapid growth inhibition, with symptoms taking over 30 days to manifest. The herbicide is absorbed through foliage and roots, translocating throughout plants.

APPLICATION:

  • Faster control of standing weeds occurs under favorable growing conditions.
  • Rainfall within two hours of spray mixture drying on leaves may reduce weed control.

SPRAYING INSTRUCTIONS:

  • For medium volume spraying, use a calibrated spray boom to ensure even coverage.
  • Use suitable nozzles to prevent spray drift onto desirable vegetation.
  • For high volume application, use a hand gun or knapsack to visibly wet the surface without producing run-off.

MIXING:

  • Pour the required amount of Smart Ipyr 750 WG Herbicide into a spray container with the total water needed.
  • Mix thoroughly. If added during filling and excessive foaming occurs, consider using a suitable antifoaming agent.
  • Compatible with both hard and soft water but corrosive to mild steel.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Compatible with certain herbicides for faster knockdown.
  • Not compatible with bipyridyl herbicides (e.g., paraquat) alone; adjuvants Ammonium Sulphate 417 SL and Wetter 1000 SL must be added to this tank mixture.
  • Not compatible with Phenoxy Acid Salts (2,4-D and/or MCPA) or 2,4-D Ester 680 EC Herbicides; mixing may result in extreme incompatibility and poor weed control.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Member of the imidazolinone group with the inhibition of acetolactate synthase (ALS) mode of action (Group 2 herbicide).
  • Weed resistance management is critical; resistant weed biotypes may exist, and repeated use can lead to dominance of resistant weeds.
  • No liability is accepted for losses resulting from failure to control resistant weeds.

PROTECTION:

  • Crops, Native Plants, and Non-Target Areas:

    • DO NOT apply under conditions causing spray drift onto susceptible plants, crops, or non-target areas.
    • Avoid application on or near desirable trees, plants, or areas where roots may extend.
    • DO NOT apply where run-off may reach agricultural land or other vegetated areas.

  • Livestock:

    • Low hazard to bees; may be applied to plants at any time.
    • DO NOT graze or cut vegetation treated with Smart Ipyr 750 WG Herbicide for stock feed.

  • Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

    • DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways.
    • Dispose of washings away from desirable plants.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in a closed, original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Rinse containers before disposal; do not burn empty containers or product.
  • Dispose of undiluted chemicals according to regulations.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • May irritate eyes and skin; avoid contact.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and dust mask when handling.
  • Wash hands and contaminated clothing after use.
  • In case of eye contact, wash immediately with water.
