GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Imtrade Linuron 800 WG Herbicide is a foliar absorbed and residual herbicide that controls weeds through foliage absorption and subsequent root absorption. Here are the general instructions for its use:
Application Conditions:
- For best results, apply to well-cultivated, weed-free surfaces free of trash and clods.
- Do not cultivate after application, as it may reduce weed control and cause crop injury.
Equipment & Mixing:
- Imtrade Linuron 800 WG Herbicide is a Water Dispersible Granule (WG) formulation mixed with water for spray application.
- Partially fill the spray tank with water, measure the required herbicide amount, and add to the tank with continuous agitation.
- Maintain continuous agitation to keep the material in suspension.
- Use 50 mesh or coarser strainer and nozzle screens to prevent nozzle blockage.
Water Volume & Spray Pressure:
- Pre-emergence: 300 – 500L/ha, 200 – 300 kPa pressure.
- Post-emergence: Minimum 300L/ha, 140 – 170 kPa pressure.
- Aerial Application (Wheat, Barley, Oats): Minimum 20L/ha under optimum conditions or 30L/ha ground application.
- Band Treatments: Use proportionally less water.
Spray Equipment Hygiene:
- Clean spray equipment thoroughly before and after using Imtrade Linuron 800 WG Herbicide.
- Use a commercially available tank and equipment cleaner like All Clear®.
Resistant Weeds Warning:
- Imtrade Linuron 800 WG Herbicide is a Group 5 Herbicide (Urea-group) with inhibitors of photosynthesis at photosystem II.
- Weed resistance may develop through genetic variability, and resistant weeds won't be controlled by this herbicide.
- Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd assumes no liability for losses due to herbicide failure.
- Strategies to minimize resistance risk are available; consult your farm chemical supplier or Imtrade representative.
Re-entry:
- Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried.
- If entry is necessary, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and chemical-resistant gloves.
Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:
- Slightly toxic to fish; prevent contamination of streams, rivers, or watercourses.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in the original, closed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Triple rinse containers before disposal; do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- Follow recycling or disposal guidelines in compliance with local regulations.
- Do not burn empty containers or product.
Safety Directions:
- Harmful if swallowed; will irritate eyes and skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and inhalation of dust or spray mist.
- When handling, wear cotton overalls, chemical-resistant gloves, and a half-face respirator.
- If product contacts the skin, wash the area immediately with soap and water. Wash hands after use.
- Wash gloves, respirator, and contaminated clothing after each day's use.
