GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Important (bananas):
Under certain conditions, the surface of recently emerged fruit is particularly prone to marking damage from spray applications. When applying in hot conditions with strong direct light to rapidly growing fruit, it's recommended to bag all emerged bunches prior to spraying to minimize the risk of fruit marking. Never mix Luna Experience with adjuvants other than water miscible oils. Using wetting agents may cause phytotoxicity to young fruit.

Mixing:

  • Shake well before use. Ensure thorough mixing by shaking, rolling, pumping, or other suitable means.

  • Half fill the spray tank with clean water. Add the required quantity of Luna Experience with agitators running.

  • Then add the high-quality, water-miscible mineral crop oil (for bananas only), followed by the remainder of the water and mix well.

  • Use the spray mixture immediately after preparation; do not allow it to stand.

Adjuvants (citrus only):
The addition of suitable adjuvants may enhance coverage. Use adjuvants at normal label rates. A non-ionic surfactant/wetting agent (e.g., Agral® 600) can be used with Luna Experience in citrus. Apply at normal label rates for each adjuvant. Do not use adjuvants or penetrants that may cause phytotoxicity to crops.

Application: Ground Application

  • Apply in sufficient water, using suitable application parameters (nozzles, pressure, speed, etc.) to ensure thorough and even coverage of the target area.

  • Use only MEDIUM spray droplets except when applying with orchard airblast equipment.

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water up to the point of run-off, matched to the crop being sprayed.

  • Set up and operate the sprayer to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy. Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off.

  • The required water volume may vary and should be determined based on industry guidelines, expert advice, or by testing.

  • Add the specified amount of Luna Experience for each 100 L of water up to the maximum per hectare in a single application. Spray to the point of run-off.

Concentrate Spraying (almonds, grapes only):

  • Use a sprayer designed and set up for concentrate spraying, matched to the crop being sprayed.

  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy to calculate the concentrate mixing rate.

  • Follow the provided example to calculate the mixing rate based on the dilute label rate.

  • Adjust the spray volume, product amount per 100 L of water, and sprayer set up and operation as the crop grows.

  • Do not exceed a concentration factor of 2X.

  • Consult relevant industry guidelines and follow best practices.

Aerial Application (bananas only):

  • Apply at least 20 L of spray mixture per hectare for aerial application.

  • Use suitable application parameters to deliver only a MEDIUM spray droplet size.

Sprayer Clean Up:

  • Clean up spray equipment by rinsing all application, pumping, and mixing equipment twice with clean water after use.
