GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: FARMALINX LVE MCPA 570 EC Herbicide

Before opening, carefully read Directions for Use, Precautionary Statements, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions. Follow these guidelines for effective and safe application.

Weed Application Guidelines:

• Spray weeds while actively growing and at their most susceptible stage.
• Annuals should be sprayed when young, and perennials just prior to the appearance of the bud stage.
• Avoid extremes of cold or drought; the best conditions are when the soil is moist, weather is fine, and rain is unlikely within 6 hours following application.
• Do not spray weeds outside the stages indicated in "Critical Comments" as damage, loss of yield, or inadequate weed control may result.
• Do not spray in high winds.

Application/Mixing Information:

• Mixes readily with water.
• Half-fill the spray tank with clean water and add the required amount of product.
• Agitate thoroughly before adding the remainder of water.

Application Rates:

• Boom Spraying: Use 30-120 L/ha of water.
• Aerial Spraying: Use 10-90 L/ha of water.

Equipment Maintenance and Usage:

• Equipment used for this chemical should not be used for the application of other materials to sensitive plants unless thoroughly washed with Spraymate Tank & Equipment Cleaner followed by several clear water rinses.

Compatibility/Tank Mixes:

• Compatible with various herbicides including Kamba, Bromicide, Flowable Diuron, Flowable Terbutryn, Glean/Siege, Glyphosate, Roundup, Grasp, Diclofop-Methyl 375, Triasulfuron 750 WG, LVE MCPA/Diflufenican, Nugrex/Tigrex, Lontrel/Archer, Propon, and Puma.
• When tank mixing, add the compatible product when the spray tank is nearly full and continuously agitate.
• If left overnight, agitate thoroughly before spraying.
• When mixing with Diclofop-Methyl 375 EC Selective Herbicide, add an approved Wetter 1000 surfactant and do not exceed 700mL of FARMALINX LVE MCPA 570 EC Herbicide per hectare.
• For consistent results, use a minimum of 80L water per ha by ground and 30L by air. If wild oats are present, use 2L Diclofop-Methyl 375 EC Selective Herbicide per hectare.

Resistant Weeds Warning:

• FARMALINX LVE MCPA 570 EC Herbicide is a Group I herbicide.
• Some naturally-occurring weed biotypes resistant to this herbicide and other Group I herbicides may exist.
• The resistant weeds will not be controlled by this herbicide or other Group I herbicides.
• FARMALINX Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of this herbicide to control resistant weeds.

Protection Measures:

• Crops: Do not apply under conditions or from equipment that may cause spray to drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
• Spray Drift: Avoid spray drift and vapor movement onto susceptible crops such as cotton, vines, tomatoes, vegetables, fruit trees, lucerne, legume crops, pastures, oilseed crops, or other susceptible crops or trees.
