PRODUCT INFORMATION MAX OUT 600 DUO is a non-volatile, non-selective, water-soluble liquid herbicide designed for controlling both annual and perennial grasses as well as broadleaf weeds across various agricultural and non-agricultural settings.

USAGE GUIDELINES MAX OUT 600 DUO can be applied to agricultural land before planting any edible or non-edible crops, except for tomatoes that are transplanted. When using MAX OUT 600 DUO prior to transplanting crops into plastic mulch, it's essential to remove any residues from the plastic by either natural rainfall of at least 2cm or by applying water through a sprinkler irrigation system.

The herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, moving throughout the plant from the point of contact into the root system. It's important to note that MAX OUT 600 DUO doesn't provide residual weed control and is inactivated on clay and organic matter in soil.

CROP ESTABLISHMENT For optimal results, MAX OUT 600 DUO should be used for controlling emerged weeds before crop establishment. It's recommended to cultivate and/or plant crops under conditions suitable for emergence and establishment following herbicide application. If heavy weed growth is present or soil conditions are unfavorable, planting should be delayed to allow for weed decay or improvement of soil conditions.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS MAX OUT 600 DUO mixes readily with water, but reduced results may occur if water contains suspended clay or organic matter, or high levels of calcium, magnesium, or bicarbonate ions. When mixing, it's crucial to follow these steps:

  1. Fill the spray tank 1/3 to 1/2 full with clean water and start agitation.

  2. If adding ammonium sulphate, use a 2% v/v and mix thoroughly.

  3. If tank-mixing, add recommended herbicide/insecticide/additive to the spray tank and mix thoroughly.

  4. Add MAX OUT 600 DUO and the remaining water. Mix thoroughly.

  5. Add Silken Penetrant, if required, near the end of the filling process.

  6. Always maintain adequate agitation during application and use the tank mix promptly. Clean all equipment after use by washing thoroughly with water.

TANK MIXTURES MAX OUT 600 DUO can be tank-mixed with various herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants. It's important to read and follow all label directions, restrictions, plant-back and withholding periods, and safety instructions for the tank-mix products. Correct mixing order and good in-tank agitation are crucial during application.

APPLICATION METHODS

  • Boom Equipment: A spray volume of 80L/ha or less is recommended for boom application, delivering a MEDIUM or MEDIUM-COARSE droplet size at the target. Avoid using nozzles and pressure settings that produce VERY FINE or FINE droplets to prevent loss or drift.

  • Wiper Equipment: Wiper equipment can be used, maintaining a minimum distance of 10cm above the crop or pasture. Best results are achieved at lower speeds, and repeat treatment may be necessary for variable weed height or dense infestations.

  • Aerial Equipment: MAX OUT 600 DUO can be applied by aircraft, using a spray volume of at least 20L/ha to produce droplets in a medium to coarse size category. Swatch width should be adjusted based on aircraft type, wind conditions, and target height.

RE-ENTRY AND APPLICATION CHECKLIST

  • Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried or unless wearing cotton overalls and chemical-resistant gloves.

  • Avoid treating weeds under poor growing conditions or adding surfactants, adjuvants, or other pesticides unless directed on the label.

  • Delay grazing of treated plants to ensure herbicide uptake, especially for toxic plants like Soursob, Variegated thistle, Sorghum, and Johnson grass.

  • Apply treatments to weeds with at least one true leaf for broadleaf weeds or two leaves for grasses to ensure adequate herbicide uptake.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Avoid applying MAX OUT 600 DUO by aircraft at temperatures above 30ºC and increase spray output when temperatures rise above 25ºC.

  • Take precautions to prevent spray drift onto nearby sensitive crops and pastures during application.

  • Thoroughly wash aircraft after each day of spraying to remove herbicide residues.

By following these guidelines, you can maximize the effectiveness of MAX OUT 600 DUO while ensuring safety and environmental responsibility.
