DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Restraints
DO NOT spray emerged crops if rain is expected within two hours.
DO NOT spray when passing over creeks or dams.
DO NOT spray when a temperature air inversion is likely to occur.
DO NOT apply before the 3-leaf stage of the crop when used for post-emergent weed control.
DO NOT use on furrow or flood irrigated crops.
DO NOT apply to crops under stress.
DO NOT store a suspension of METSY 200 WG for more than 2 days.
DO NOT store tank mixtures of METSY 200 WG.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
METSY 200 WG used on established Perennial Phalaris and/or established Perennial
Cocksfoot may cause temporary yellowing and some stunting.
METSY 200 WG can severely damage Annual and Perennial Ryegrass.
METSY 200 WG does not control/damage Silvergrass (Vulpia spp.), Barley Grass (Hordeum spp.), Brome grass (Bromus spp.) or Winter Grass (Poa spp.).
Allow weeds to recover from grazing before application. Docks and Sorrel in particular require fresh leaf growth for adequate uptake of chemical.
Sorrel seedlings may germinate after the break in the following year, particularly after cultivation.
Where treatment is delayed or where weeds are not actively growing due to adverse conditions, results may be slow to appear and weeds may only be stunted or suppressed.
Legumes are extremely sensitive to low concentrations of METSY 200 WG.
The ungerminated clover seed bank is not affected by METSY 200 WG application.
Clover vigour is often increased in the year following application where seed banks are reasonable.
The seed set of clover in the year of application of METSY 200 WG will be significantly reduced particularly from the Winter-Spring application. This effect may impact on the clover seed bank therefore re-sowing may be necessary. Where clover seed banks are high re-sowing is not necessary.
For pasture topping situations a combination of METSY 200 WG plus Glyphosate can be used. Refer to the Directions for Use section of each product for the appropriate rate and critical comments on the target weed spectrum.

Product Description
METSY 200 WG is a selective herbicide designed to kill broadleaf weeds in wheat, barley, triticale and cereal rye as detailed in the application tables. It is suitable as a post-emergence treatment, either alone or in combination with other products, depending on the particular weed combination present. The product is formulated as a water dispersable granule. Once mixed, METSY 200 WG must be kept in suspension during spraying. METSY 200 WG is compatible with certain insecticides, other broadleaf herbicides and some other chemicals as detailed under Compatibility.
The active constituent in METSY 200 WG is metsulfuron methyl, a member of the sulfonylurea group of herbicides.
