GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONTINUED:
INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:
- Mite Master 290 Insecticide is a Group 1B insecticide.
- Resistance management is crucial; resistant individuals may dominate the population if the insecticide is overused.
- Grow Choice Pty Ltd is not liable for losses resulting from Mite Master's failure to control resistant insects.
- Specific resistance management strategies may apply; consult local agricultural authorities for guidance.
MIXING:
- Mix the required quantity of Mite Master in sufficient water for even coverage.
- Boom sprayers and aircraft are suitable for application.
- Compatible with most commonly used herbicides (direct drilling, minimum tillage, pasture topping).
- Thoroughly mix Mite Master in the spray tank before adding herbicides.
- Do not mix concentrates together; add each to the spray tank separately.
- Test all mixtures before commercial use, as formulations of other manufacturers' products are beyond Grow Choice Pty Ltd's control.
- Changes in climatic conditions may alter plant sensitivity to mixtures; Grow Choice is not responsible for their behavior.
PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:
- DANGEROUS TO BEES: Do not spray flowering plants while bees are foraging.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
GROUP 1B HERBICIDE:
- Mite Master 290 Insecticide belongs to Group 1B. Exercise caution to prevent resistance development.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid prolonged storage in direct sunlight.
- Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank.
- Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
- Recycle clean containers or return them to a designated collection point.
- If not recycling, bury containers at a local authority landfill, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation, and tree roots. Do not burn.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- Product and spray are poisonous if absorbed by skin contact, inhaled, or swallowed.
- Eye irritant; may cause allergic disorders with repeated exposure.
- Wear protective clothing: cotton overalls, elbow-length PVC gloves, face shield, washable hat, and impervious footwear.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin; do not inhale spray mist.
- In case of contamination, remove clothing immediately; wash skin with soap and water.
- If product contacts eyes, wash out immediately with water.
- After use, wash hands, arms, face, and contaminated clothing thoroughly.
- Obtain an emergency supply of atropine tablets (0.6mg).
- Do not eat, drink, or smoke without washing hands, arms, and face.
- Wash gloves, face shield, or goggles, and contaminated clothing after each day's use.
