General Instructions:

MacPhersons MUSTER is a non-volatile herbicide effective against many annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses. It is absorbed by plant foliage and green stems, acting on the contacted parts of green plants. It does not provide residual weed control. Symptoms of control typically appear in 3 to 7 days, with complete desiccation taking up to 20 to 30 days under cool conditions. Best results are achieved under good growing conditions, and application to stressed weeds should be avoided.

Soil Fumigation/Sterilization: Avoid applying MacPhersons MUSTER in conjunction with soil fumigation or sterilization, as it may slow down the breakdown of the herbicide by reducing soil microorganisms.

Plastic Mulches: Exercise caution when applying MacPhersons MUSTER over plastic mulches, as the herbicide can remain active on inert surfaces. Contact between plants and the mulch after spraying may result in crop damage.

Resistant Weeds Warning: MacPhersons MUSTER belongs to the glycine group of herbicides and is an inhibitor of glutamine synthetase. To manage weed resistance, alternate MacPhersons MUSTER with herbicides from other chemical groups. Resistant weeds may not be controlled by MacPhersons MUSTER or other Group N herbicides.

Export of Treated Produce: Check with TGAC Australia Pty Ltd for the latest information on Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) and import tolerances for produce treated with MacPhersons MUSTER before exporting.

Compatibility: MacPhersons MUSTER is compatible with most residual herbicides, glyphosate, and metsulfuron. The addition of a wetting agent or adjuvant is generally not necessary but may be beneficial for hard-to-wet weeds when using water rates above 500 L/ha.

Mixing: Mix MacPhersons MUSTER with clean water. Ensure the spray tank is free of residues from previous spray materials. Add the required amount of MacPhersons MUSTER with agitation, then add other compatible products before topping up the tank with clean water.

Application Equipment:

• Ground Sprayers: Aim for thorough and even coverage, especially in dense weed stands.

• Boom or Directed Sprayer Equipment: Apply at label rates with sufficient water for thorough coverage.

• Knapsack and Handgun Equipment: Apply at label rates with adequate water to wet the weeds thoroughly.

• Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) Equipment: Apply at recommended rates with thorough coverage, avoiding contact with crop trunks or canopies.

• Sprayer Cleanup: Clean all equipment thoroughly after use by flushing with water.

Aircraft: Do not apply MacPhersons MUSTER by aircraft.
