GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Mixing: The recommended quantity can be added directly to the water in the spray vat with the agitators running. If used with an emulsifiable concentrate, add it after making the emulsion.

Compatibility: Nordox 750 WG Copper Fungicide is compatible with spray oils and most commonly used fungicides, insecticides, and miticides. Conduct a compatibility jar test if unsure. Avoid mixtures with more than one other product, as they may be ineffective or cause serious crop damage. Test compatibility with foliar fertilizers.

Wetting Agents: A wetting agent is required for BRASSICAS, FABA BEANS, PEAS, and ONION, regardless of the application method. It is also needed when Nordox 750 WG is applied as a concentrate spray or by aircraft. Use Wetter 1000 at label rates for these purposes. Add a wetting agent if required for other pesticides.

APPLICATION OF SPRAYS: Thorough coverage is crucial for maximum effectiveness, as Nordox 750 WG is non-systemic.

Application to Tree Crops and Vines

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to run-off, matching it to the crop.
  • Set up the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
  • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of runoff, avoiding excessive runoff.
  • Determine the required water volume based on industry guidelines or expert advice.
  • Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water.
  • Adjust dilute spray volume, sprayer setup, and operation as the crop grows.
  • Always apply enough water to cover the crop to the point of runoff to avoid underdosing.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying matched to the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy with the chosen water volume.
  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
  • Calculate the concentrate mixing rate.
    • Example: Dilute spray volume (e.g., 1500 L/ha), chosen concentrate spray volume (e.g., 500 L/ha), concentration factor (e.g., 3), dilute label rate (e.g., 150 g/100 L), concentrate rate (e.g., 3 x 150 = 450 g/100 L).
  • Adjust spray volume, product amount per 100L, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
