GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Temporary Wilting:

  • Temporary wilting may be evident in crops after application. Regrowth and successive germination of weeds may occur under certain conditions, necessitating follow-up spraying.

Crop Safety:

  • Do not spray outside recommended crop growth stages, as crop damage may result.
  • Do not apply to recently released cereal varieties without consulting Nufarm Australia Limited or the local Department of Agriculture.

Mixing:

  • Add the required amount of product directly to the water in the tank and mix thoroughly.

Application:

  • Do not apply using misting machines.
  • Ground Application: Use a properly calibrated boom spray with a minimum of 50L water per hectare.
  • Aerial Application: Apply with at least 25L total spray volume per hectare. Aircraft should fly low to minimize drift.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Nufarm Broadside® Herbicide belongs to Group 4 and 6 herbicides. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to this and other Group 4 and 6 herbicides may exist. Continuous use may lead to resistant weeds.

Protection of Crops and Environment:

  • Calibrate spray equipment accurately before use and wash thoroughly after use.
  • Do not use spray equipment for horticultural crops.
  • Avoid spraying under conditions causing drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
  • Do not apply in close proximity to vines, tomatoes, flowers, vegetables, ornamentals, lupins, fruit trees, or any other field crop.
  • Minimize spray drift by using low pressure and nozzles that do not produce fine droplets.
  • Do not apply in high wind conditions.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

  • Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Non-refillable Containers: Triple-rinse before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Recycle or deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
  • Returnable Containers: Empty contents fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Harmful if absorbed by skin contact, inhaled, or swallowed. Will irritate eyes and skin.
  • Do not inhale vapour or spray mist.
  • Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders.
  • When handling, wear cotton overalls, a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves, and a face shield or goggles.
  • When using the prepared spray, wear cotton overalls, a washable hat, and elbow-length PVC gloves.
