GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Mixing/Application:

  • Fill the spray vat with good quality water.
  • Pour the required quantity of Nufarm Tri-Base Blue Fungicide into the spray vat with the agitation system operating.
  • Do not attempt to pre-mix Nufarm Tri-Base Blue Fungicide in water before adding to the spray vat.
  • If other pesticides are applied, prepare and mix them thoroughly before adding Nufarm Tri-Base Blue Fungicide.
  • Continuous agitation is required for sprays containing Nufarm Tri-Base Blue Fungicide.

Wetting Agents:

  • Nufarm Activator is required when applying to BRASSICAS, FABA BEANS, PEAS, and ONION.
  • Wetting agents are needed when applying as a concentrate spray, by aircraft, or when required for other pesticides.

Dilute Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to the point of run-off, matched to the crop.
  • Apply enough water to cover the crop to the point of run-off.
  • Adjust water volume and sprayer settings as the crop grows.

Concentrate Spraying:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
  • Set up and operate the sprayer to achieve even coverage.
  • Calculate concentrate mixing rate based on dilute spray volume and concentration factor.

Specific Crop Application Guidelines:

  • Different guidelines for deciduous fruit and almonds, citrus and litchi, avocados and mangoes, olives, vines, tree nuts except almonds, tobacco seed beds, and vegetables.
  • Adjust application methods, volumes, and equipment based on the crop type.

Fungicide Resistance Warning:

  • Nufarm Tri-Base Blue Fungicide is a Group M1 fungicide.
  • Fungicide resistance may occur through normal genetic variability.
  • Continuous use may lead to resistant fungi dominating the population.
  • Nufarm Australia Limited accepts no liability for losses due to resistance.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with most insecticides/pyrethroids, dormant spraying oils, Penncozeb 750 DF, Wettable Sulphur, or Urea.
  • Not recommended to mix with more than one of the above products.
  • May not be compatible with some foliar fertilizers; conduct a test before use.

Protection Measures:

  • DO NOT apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops.
  • DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used containers.
  • Dispose of spent rhubarb dip solution in a disposal pit away from waterways, desirable vegetation, and tree roots.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • Triple rinse non-refillable containers before disposal; DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Dispose of empty containers at an approved waste management facility.
  • Safety Directions: Harmful if swallowed; will irritate eyes, nose, throat, and skin. Use appropriate protective gear.

Refillable Containers:

  • Empty contents fully into application equipment.
  • Close all valves and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
