GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS CONTINUED

Fungicide Resistance Warning: Oxydul DF Fungicide belongs to the Multi-site activity group of fungicides and is categorized as a Group Y fungicide. To manage fungicide resistance, it is crucial to note that some naturally occurring fungi may develop resistance to Oxydul DF and other Group Y fungicides through genetic variability. Continued use of these fungicides without proper management practices may result in resistant fungi dominating the population, reducing efficacy, and potentially causing yield loss. It is advisable to implement integrated pest management strategies to minimize resistance development.

Application:

  • High Volume (Dilute Spraying):

    • Mix specified rates of the product per 100 L of water.
    • Apply in sufficient water to thoroughly wet the crop to the point of run-off.
    • Adjust water volume based on crop size and bulk.
  • Low Volume (Concentrate Spraying):

    • Apply in sufficient water to ensure thorough, even coverage of all plant parts.
    • Calculate the rate of product per hectare based on the high-volume application rate.

Special Instructions for Tree and Vine Crops:

  • Dilute Spraying:

    • Use a sprayer designed for high volumes and matched to the crop.
    • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
    • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off.
    • Adjust dilute spray volume and setup as the crop grows.
  • Concentrate Spraying:

    • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
    • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
    • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
    • Calculate the concentrate mixing rate based on the dilute rate, chosen spray volume, and concentration factor.

Mixing:

  • Slowly pour Oxydul DF into the three-quarters filled spray tank with water, while the agitation system is active.
  • Alternatively, premix in a bucket and add to the spray vat with agitation running.

Compatibility:

  • Oxydul DF Fungicide can be used with Top Wettable Sulphur, Kumulus+ DF, Scala+, methomyl, and most other insecticides, including emulsions and spraying oils.
  • DO NOT mix with alkaline materials such as Lime Sulphur.
  • DO NOT mix with products containing calcium.

Precautions:

  • Re-entry Period:

    • DO NOT allow entry into treated areas until the spray deposits have dried.
    • If entry is necessary, wear cotton overalls, elbow-length PVC gloves, and protective eyewear.
    • Launder clothing after each day's use.
  • Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

    • DO NOT contaminate water bodies with the chemical or used containers.
  • Drift Warning:

    • DO NOT apply under conditions that may cause spray to drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands, or pastures.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store the product in the closed, original bag in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Shake empty bags into the spray tank.
  • DO NOT dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Puncture and bury empty containers in a landfill or dispose of them according to local regulations.
