GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Resistant Weeds Warning

Kenso Agcare Paddo M SC Herbicide belongs to both the triazines and phenoxy's groups of herbicides. It inhibits photosynthesis at photosystem II and disrupts plant cell growth, making it a Group C and I herbicide. There is a risk of naturally occurring weed biotypes developing resistance to Paddo M SC and similar herbicides through genetic variability. Kenso Agcare Pty Ltd does not accept liability for losses due to failure in controlling resistant weeds.

MIXING

Paddo M SC mixes readily with water. Fill half of the spray tank with water, shake the container before use, and add the recommended quantity to the tank. Maintain agitation during mixing and spraying, using either mechanical or venturi-type agitation. Reseal part-used containers immediately and wash the sprayer thoroughly after use.

APPLICATION

Boom Sprayer: Calibrate the sprayer to ensure the correct application rate per hectare. Maintain even boom height for uniform application.

  • Cereal and Pastures: Apply 50 to 100 L of water/ha with no smaller than 80 mesh pump and jet filters. Use the higher volume for heavy weed infestation or dense crop cover.

  • Sugar Cane: Apply 200 to 400 L of water/ha with no smaller than 80 mesh pump and jet filters. Use the higher volume for high weed density or advanced weeds. Thorough coverage is essential. Always add the required wetter.

Aircraft: Apply 20 to 30 L of water/ha, preferably at a higher volume for more reliable results. Weed control following aerial application may be less effective than ground application.

COMPATIBILITY

  • Tank Mixing: Paddo M SC can be mixed with Ken-Met 600 WG for specific weed control. Avoid tank mixing with diclofop methyl or tralkoxydim to prevent crop injury and reduced weed control.

  • In Pastures: Mix with Kenso Agcare MCPA 750 and insecticides like dimethoate, phosmet, Karate*, Ken-Tac 100, and omethoate (maintain good agitation and avoid cold water).

  • In Sugar Cane: Mix with Agral*, BS*1000 wetter, Ken-Amine 625, and ametryn (500 g/L). Read and follow both labels and adhere to the most restrictive recommendations.

TIMING

  • Weed Growth Stage: Apply while weeds are actively growing and at the 2 to 6 true leaf stage when most susceptible. Apply approximately 5 to 8 weeks after planting. Avoid extremes of cold or drought.

  • Pasture: Spray weeds up to 20 cm in diameter, following specific directions for use. In sugar cane, apply to broadleaf weeds up to the 8 leaf or 30 cm diameter stage, and vines up to 1m in length.

CROP SAFETY

  • Some oat varieties are tolerant or moderately tolerant to Paddo M SC, but consult before spraying other varieties.

  • In pastures, sub clover growth may be temporarily reduced, but plants usually recover.

  • Sugar cane varieties like Q122 may show yellowing and leaf scorch immediately after spraying but typically recover within 4 weeks.
