- Apply recommended rates in 75 to 200 litres of clean water per hectare.
- Preferred spray volumes: 25-100L/ha using fan nozzle equipment at 240-280 kPa.
- Set boom height for double overlap of nozzle patterns at the top of weed canopy.
B. HIGH VOLUME APPLICATION:
- Use knapsack/handgun equipment for even spray pattern.
- Apply to ensure complete and uniform wetting of all foliage.
C. WIPER EQUIPMENT:
- Use ropewick, canvas, felt, or carpet applicators.
- Operate at least 10 cm above the crop; weeds should be 15 cm above the crop.
- Speed of travel: no greater than 8 km/h.
D. LOW VOLUME APPLICATION:
- Use gas gun or splatter gun for even spray coverage.
